i just got my new caylors in a 171. they look amazing! but my next question is where should i mount em? recommended is 2.5 cm back from true center but i like to ski switch. and since these have nice fat tails i'll be doing that a lot. so should i center em up or mount em 1 cm back for a little more control when i'm going down the hill the right way? lol. i don't wanna drill these twice so this is a big back and forth decision right now. i mounted my chetlers 1 cm back but i never got to ski em in more than 2 inches of fresh. my park skis are center tho. help please.

I think the recommended mount is around center in terms of running length. They should be good there. I mounted mine center and they're so easy to ride switch in pow... and forward.

The mount for the 171 is -2.5cm from true, -3 is for the 191's.
You're honestly not going to feel a lot of difference, but in our tests last year, majority of people thought around -3 was money. You can certainly center mount them, but they ride fine switch in powder at our recommended mark, the 140mm wide tails keep you floating pretty darn good. If it were me, I'd mount mine at the mark, just because I'm only landing something switch once or twice every day, airing straight instead of spinning 5's off cliffs... yeah.
