Last summer I picked up a pair of used (student life) Jeronimo's (2011's I think). I've had maybe 6 or 7 days on them now this season and have to say they are the most fun ski I have ever been on. They're a little shorter than I'm used to for an all mountain ski (skiing the 184's), but I am having an absolute blast on them. It seriously just made skiing my small local hill that much more fun. So far just park, bumps, and groomers (no pow yet cause Ontario). Thx guys.

How tall are you? 184 has always felt plenty long for me as a 5'10" dude

About 6'3. I've skied 189s for the longest time and found them to be a good size.

Wicked. I just got a pair of 184 Deathwishes so I‘ve been riding that new ski feel lately.

Easy to forget how different other skis feel when you’ve been riding the same sticks for years.

idk what the Jeronimos are like but the Deathwish is WAY more chargey compared to everything else I’ve ridden. I‘m used to a 15-17m turning radius and now I’ve got a 25m radius and I feel like I’m going Mach 12 everywhere. Having a kick ass time on them.

what ski did you upgrade from?

Had the same effect going to the Bibbys, such a sick and well made ski if you get an opportunity to try that too

Would love to get on a pair for a deep day. Thought about grabbing the Wildcat this year instead of the Deathwish but ultimately decided it was way too much ski for the midwest. I've been seeing people say the Bibby/Wildcat is a great do it all ski but I don't think I really buy that, given how fat it is and the rocker/camber profile, as opposed to the triple camber on the Deathwish which I've found to hold an edge like a serrated knife on hardpack. I've heard the Bibby is pretty dead until you get cookin' and that just kinda seemed like an unreasonable ski choice for a midwest skier.

I was skiing K2 Seth Pistols from 05. I love that ski so much but I should have retired them many years ago. Maybe 8 years ago they got rocker (they're supposed to be camber) and I just kept riding them. They're actually about the same shape as the Jeronimo's since they got pounded out so much they got rockered. I'm impressed by their durability though, If I had to guess they probably have 3-400 days over 10ish seasons I've had them. Now actually having a ski with life in them is the best.

While I can agree it may be a bit much for the Midwest if you don’t bomb everything (due to the smaller size of mts), it really does handle everything that’s thrown at it plus more.
