ON3P billy goats v. Rossignol s7

I know, just ordered a pair of 191s last night so friggin excited cant wait to ride ride them at the weekend

Billy Goat is a bigger ski. It is stiffer, more demanding to ski, and more powerful. It is still a very quick ski, you just need to know how to ski. The s7 does not require someone knowing how to ski, which is they beauty and annoyance of it. I think the best way to put it is that Rossi has come out with the Super7, and now the Squad7, which are more powerful chargier versions of the s7, ON3P has not come out with a super Goat, just a bigger size.

This. My grandma could ride that ski.

No wonder so many people sold their first gen billy goats. People thought they were cheap s7s.

While I have never tried a BG, they seem to have the dimension to be a really fun powder tree ski, and I love the feel of my j-mos....so my personal vote would be the BG...
I have tried (albeit briefly) a pair of S7s and they are brilliantly designed and ski with little effort.....until you start picking up the pace. If you are lighter and enjoy cruising powder for hours butering and messing around then they may be the ticket...However they felt a little floppy for my tastes, I like a ski that I can put alot of energy into and it can respond accordingly. So If you are aggressive and like to slash abruptly and ski fast the S7 will feel a bit limp.

If you're just looking to ski mellow powder bowls/cruise, the S7 is fine. It's a "beginner pow ski". If you're looking to charge pretty hard, the S7 is not what you wanna be on...

If you're not a very smooth, confident powder skier, the S7 is perfect for you. I put my uncle who is 5'11" 165, intermediate skier, on a pair of 178s last year, and within an hour he was skiing the avalanche chutes at mammoth in knee deep pow with more control and confidence than I had ever seen him ski with. He bought a pair that day.

If you already ski pow like a champ, you can get a ski designed for a more expert skier.
