ON3P 186 Jeronimo Vs. 186 Jeffery

Stats: 6'5"

188 pounds

I live on the east coast and primarily ski there but go out west 4-6 weeks per year (Alta, Taos, Jackson, usually somewhere in Colorado). At home I ski all over the mountain (groomers, glades, bumps) and a little bit of park (85% to 15% respectively) and when I ski park I usually ski jumps (no more than 5's/sw 5's, backflips, etc). When I am in the rockies I almost never ski park.

I already own some Bent Chetlers and AR7s. I am looking for an all mountain ski that can still handle itself in the park. Basically I am looking to almost replace the AR7s with something stiffer, wider, and longer. I understand that both the skis may be a little bit short for me and I am open to other suggestions.

Thanks.

j-mos for sure seeing as you already own a pow ski. next years are being bumped up to 101 underfoot

I bought 186 Jmos for this exact use, and I'm super happy with them. They fit perfectly in my quiver with 191 Wrens and EP Pros (being replaced by 196 Pillowfights when they arrive in a couple of days :D )

They are super playful, really stable and can handle pretty much anything.

i dont know about you guys...but if i were out west for more then a month a year, i would for sure take the jeffreys. I dont personally own them, but have heard nothig but good things. People say the jeffrey is pretty much their all mountain ski. Would you want to take out the bent chetlers in 6-8 in of fresh? No. And that would be to deep or jmos. If you were strictly riding these in the east, then yeah the jeronimo would be awesome, but i would def want something a little wider out west.

What about the 193 Nordica Patron? I've heard that this ski, while wide, can still rail groomers and might even be okay on jumps. Keep in mind i'll still have my ar7s if i really want to do some jibs (which isn't very often).

Seriously that's my current quiver.

BC: Anything over 6

Jeffery: Anything Fresh

J-mo: Any other time
