Omg shop tech wtf

So I laugh at all these kids on ns crying about how there skis did not get mounted at core center like they wanted. I took my old line skogen pros to the shop today to get mounted. I fill out the form, and the tech asks me "do you want them center mounted?" and I say "no just mounted at reccomended". There is only one line ont eh ski, the gold one with the numbers that shows the tech where to mount. When I get home I just realize they are mounted like 3 or more cm behind that. WTF

no man its not one of those, its an exception to the the t_rob/papasteeze how to make sure your mount doesn't get fucked up when you say recomended becaue well anyone can do that. how the fuck can anyone mess up recomendend.

Before you come to conclusions, put your boots in the bindings and see if the mid sole of them is at the recommended mount. Looks can be deceiving depending on the type of bindings you have. Some bindings make them look mounted in a very different place than you think they are supposed to be.

great point. i htought my last pair of skis looked off when i saw them but then i clicked in my kryptons and belive it or not that lil arrow was pointing right at that pink line.

My skis were mounted correctly. 2cm forward of true centre.

The tech mounted my Anthems perfectly too.....only one line on the ski hahaha, and hes a baller and hooked me up with almost proform on all my gear, what a guy.

all i was doing was getting my skis mounted at the shop, and my guy charged me less then 50% of their mounting price and ran it thru as an adjustment instead of a mount since it's way cheaper

Word. Mounting should be nearly free anyway, unless its for a gaper.

ok, I just did that and they are 5 cms behind the line. WTF I am going to do a bunch of mesuring tomorrow to find out exactly were they are mounted from center.

my skis got mounted like 6mm behind recomended. i think its because my boot heel was in the air when they marked it.
