We're getting pounded up in central Hokkaido too. I've been away for 2 weeks in Thailand and got back 2 days ago. My car was under a 2m pile of snow. It took me so long to dig out - but it was worth it, because I drove to go ride the deep light fluffy Japanese goodness!

I'm at work now looking out the window at the snow still falling. Oh well, only 2 hours to go, then I'm going for some night skiing!
