just saw it on espn, figured id share seeing as how thats all most of us really care about during the winter olympics, anyone know what time they start?

First half of qualifiers done. Second half about to begin. Works like this:

Take FIS list, even numbers makeup first 20 riders in olympics, odd numbers make up second 20. First 20 take 2 runs, top 3 advance to finals, 4-9 advance to semis. Same happens for the second 20.

Finals start around 7:15 pacific, so 10:15 EST for those of you who cant do math. Oh, and before anyone says shit like "lol straight airs, snowboarders suck", the judges are looking for straight airs to show variety in runs (air to fakie counts as straight air).

Good day all

well there goes Canada's medal hopeful...

and I cant believe that Australia has a FIFTEEN YEAR OLD competing in olympic pipe...

wow who is he? thats crazy
but straight airs in the pipe, i understand switch hits but come on, anyone doing a straight air method should quit life

A straight air is required in the run.
Anyone know when this is actually airing on NBC? (I'm on Pacific time) ..not that it really matters because their coverage is such a scattered junkshow.

What I watched was retarded. 60% of riders fell on their runs. The only sick part was the crazy Japanese dude who boosted far as fuck outa the pipe.
