Oldhead looking for an old crash clip

Looking for a famous crash clip from back in the 2007-2011 era. Forget who it was but it was a legendary undershoot on an insane gap jump. Guy comes up short and slams into the vertical face of the landing. They were filming for a movie and he knocks one of the big red letters off of the landing. Can’t remember what the text says.

Wasn’t mike Wilson, everyone knows that one. Wanna say Skogen Sprang but I’m not getting any results.

If any of you can find this clip I’ll be amazed. Thanks

Was worried this clip was lost to the sands of time. Glad to see it’s gnarliness is still preserved
 
Worst crash of all time IMO. From what I remember the hill was not big enough so they were literally towing the skiers over the top of the mountain to get enough speed.

yes this was indeed the 2007 - 2011 crash clip featuring a legendary undershoot where the guy slams into a vertical face and knocks one of the big red letters off of the landing.

I think they talked about it a bit on the level 20 podcast, didn’t he come pretty close to dieing from rupturing some important blood vessels or organs?

"he came up short breaking 3 or 4 ribs, did something to his spleen (his bro said they wern't sure)He also ripped 2 out of 3 layers of the aorta...for those of you that don't know what that is, its the pump to your heart and basically if you tear all 3 your dead. Dspong had heart surgery yesterday, I'm not exactly sure what Evan (his bro) told me if there was a 90% chance of him being paralyzed, i was in to much shock to even remember. I was lucky enough to talk to derek not long after he got out of surgery and he sounded great for the condition's he was in."

he also collapsed a lung i believe. he was 16 when that happened. so ham. also enjoy is one of the best ski movies of all time. wish rage didn't call it quits. if anyone has a copy they would sell me or digitally send me shoot me a PM!
