Olddddd Armada ARVs

Picked up a pair of ARVs at the Windells staff sale for mad cheap. minimal core damage and some topsheet Knicks but the ski is actually in pretty good shape. However I did some background research on how old the ski is and its actually the '08 model, with the koi fish graphic. Will the ski still holdup in the park considering its age? Thoughts?

If it could be skied in 08 it could be skied now, storage doesn't destroy skis

Yes. You will be fine. Nothing wrong with riding old skis, skis are skis.

My rossys are at least that old, they were my grandfathers before they were mine and god knows where he got them from

youre def fine, and those are good skis

i forget when the ARV actually changed, like which years they actually modified it. I think the 2008 is right after they stiffened it a tiny bit. but generally speaking it's been pretty consistent for years and years. dope ski and like the others said, the fact that it sat around for years doesnt make it worse

if you need some context, go watch some armada riders' videos from 2003 2004 etc. any non-park shots, theyre using the original ARV cause back then the 90s waisted ARV was the "big mtn option" haha. now ask yourself if theyll serve your purposes!

those are GREAT park skis... the current edollo and al dente are built on that same basic design with rocker added
