Old Nikon Lenses for filming.

has any body dabbled in the realm of vintage nikon lenses? i have a few but am debating weather if its worth it or not to buy a couple more.

I shoot all vintage Nikon on my FS, other than my Tokina 11-16. They are beautiful lenses, built extremely well and cheap. I love them.
 
35-70 is meh, I had one when i FIRST got my camera and it was pretty mediocre. squeaked a bunch
 
a 35-70 with a fixed aperture would be awesome for a FF video zoom if you have a decent collection of primes...

Personally, I think non-AI is absolutely fine as long as they are in good condition and have good coatings, and have the best focusing rings - and is the most affordable. only go AI or AIS if you really care about the coatings a lot.
