dude. i have been jibbing since i was 14. we use to go poach snowboard parks when we weren't allowed. that was fuckin 8 years ago. snowboard was at its peak. it was fun back then. i use to wack my poles on the top deck of sitting snowboarders.

now i was watching the côté obscur. then 17 year old kid is huckin a switch 1080. i am so out of it.

i use to ski 70+ days a winter. now all i do is work. i skied 15 days this winter. i went to jib this week. i thought you didn't loose the touch.

i couldn't even reach to grab ski in my rotation.

i bailed. then stuck to 180s. i cant do it anymore. in the fast pace of newschool i was left out. i am an old newschooler.

for real....a ton of kids that can huck big tricks have no style....style's a thing u can't just see in a movie and do it

Who cares? Im happy with what I can do and each day I try to push myself. No most of us cant be pro or make it in the top 3 of each comp, newschool is getting bigger, so what?

I am 24 yrs old...and it is hard getting out there and learning wicked cool tricks, falling is more difficult...being 14 would be great...but many of those kids help me out and is nice to see younger kids out there not snowboarding! Hope my kids do that

Sorry to hear that bro. Don't worry though... twisters are still fun to do. I did one a while ago, I was really bored, and it was a blast. When it comes to that, we can always go back to backscratchers, too.

haha, I think big mountain is where it's at. Any little monkey ass kid can hit the park and throw grabs and stuff but if you've actually got nads and a little hair on your chest then you ski steeps and chutes and huck cliffs and rip up backcountry kickers, that's where it's at, for me anyway. But newschool still hasn't taken off over here so there's no little groms here yet. all good.

he didnt learn a back flip till he was 26? that is crazy, if mike D took that long to get his back flip than anyone younger than him isnt out yet.

yea my good skiing buddy is only 14 (im 17) and everytime i go and learn a new trick, a week later he has it down, its starting ti piss me off, but its all fun, i dont care anymore
