Why does the U.S. steal like every English city name and put 'new' in front of it. New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire and they even steal England itself. Didnt the settlers have any fucking imagination when they er.. settled?

when the people frist came from england to america they just named the towns the same as the ones back in they home land but just added new to it cause it was the new place.
