so i was messin around with my old broken tripod, seeing what i could salvage, and i had an idea to make a stabilizer out of it. I wasn't sure how to go about doing this until i looked at my old BB gun. 30 minutes and a couple saws later, i got this:

thoughts? concerns?

Oh my god he's gonna kill us and film himself doing it. AHHHH!

That's pretty cool though, your gonna get so many looks on the hill. Just point it at people and zoom in, you'll get a great reaction 80% of the time and make a montage of people getting scared.

you should put in some time and make a pulley from the trigger to the cam so whenever you pull the trigger it records/ends recording

i actually had the idea to dissect the wireless controller that come with it, tucking away the chords inside the gun, mounting the laser on the side of the gun facing the camera, and putting the 'record' button on the back stop of the trigger so when i pulled it, it pushes the record button.. but it seems like alot of work

haha that's rad. you gotta go all out and do the wireless controller thing. or at least mount it on the stock of the bb gun so you dont have to reach up to start recording. +k for ingenuity

it sure looks neat, but you should try and make a vid just to test out how stable it will turn out to be.

ya, i'll post a video at some point. can't rush anything because my editing computer is in Massachusettes with my brother, but i'll bump this when i get something.. my test footage is alot better than i'd even think

that wil suck so much when you hit urbans and the cops roll up and you point it at them to get it on tape

broke my collar bone. won't be skiing for a little. i'll just do a little room footage thing in a little if you're really interested
