old 8mm cameras

is if posable to get film for the relly old 8mm video camera. since u can find them for like $30 it just seems like if would b fun to do stuff w/ them that u wouldent wana do w/ a nice camera.if you can get film for them whare and how much to get if devoliped?

8mm film... not hi8 tape... umm... it's like 15 bucks for 50 feet or something... it's expensive, and you gotta gete it transfered to other tape.. I don't know to much, but a friend of mine does it, but he's rich.

quite a bit, the frames are only like 8mm. You do the math, but remember its probably 24fps

my dad used to shoot on one then it got to expenisve and a pain to find places to get film and develop it

i buy my super 8mm in packages of 3 and a half minute film and its around 24 bucks canadian... its free developing, but you gotta send it to germany

Unless you really like the way it looks, have some extra cash, and are able to splice your own film... digital is the way to go

You dont have to cut and splice it...you can put into your computer easily enough. But you also need a regular camcorder to. It looks amazing when shot right. You probably can order the film from B&H and I know you can mailorder it to kodak. I get mine from a local photoshop, they order it for me...if you have a decent photo store near you they will be able to get it for you.
