Okemo or mt. snow

im more of a rail guy and me and my friend are going to one or the other. he is into both rails and jumps the same amount. we are pretty good. we could do probably 80% of the features at each and was wondering what you guys think. we are leaning towards mount snow right now.
 
mount snow hands down
Not that okemo is bad, mount snow is just on a whole different level
 
nice. ya we are only still thinking about okemo because we heard the park is super long which would be really fun
 
Fuck mount snow they fucked me over last year no homo, always packed and shit gets stolen way to often. Okemo is my vote
 
ive had some great times at okemo but these guys are right, mount snow is just on another level.
 
You suck. Mount snow is really sick, but you have to deal with all the straight park rats. If you want to ski some sick trees and park go with Okemo. I like okemo better personally, but if you wanna be another park rat at mount snow then the choice is obvious.
 
false. okemo does have a good amount of glades for all skill levels (when there is enough snow to cover the trails that is)
 
true. no dub blacks without trees.... it is a bit redic how easy it is... Nor'easter is pretty much their steepest run (that part up top that is)

okemo's park isnt as extensive and imo its trails are just as good, def has better glades though
 
+k for putting up with that shithole. I'm going to school in Rochester and bristol's the only place around.. except for swain which is even smaller... gah. I need to get back home more this winter
 
I'm a bristol mountain guy as well. been to Okemo a couple times and it's amazing after skiing at bristol all the time. you'll have an insane amount of fun at either i don't think you can really go wrong
 
they throw moguls on big bang though, i wish they had just a steep run without some sort of extra feature, defiance may be steeper than Nor'eatser, this is true but that sport after the y rail is up there
 
i ride at mount snow and i went to okemo for a day last season because it was free.

i don't think i'd ever pay money to ride there. the park was alright, my favorite part was the super super long flat rail to down kink, but other than that nothing really impressed me.

mount snow isn't known for variety, but with the sheer amount of features, okemo's parks can't even hold a candle to snow's.
 
i always ski mount snow. okemo has a lot of bigger and more creative rails but all in i like mount snow a lot better. mount snow has a better early season and their jumps are a lot better. mount snow has more variety also
 
also from bristol mtn. my friends an i went to okemo last year for feb break. it was a lot of fun comming from an upstate ny mnt(hill). so either way you will have fun, but from this thread i'd say go to snow
