Okemo Big Air

ya, there WAS a contest, not too many people showed up, there was about 9 or ten skiers in the amatuer comp, myself and Liam Downey were the only ones in the pro comp. I entered the pro section becaue there was money on the line, i made up a couple sponsors, haha. well the jump was real sweet, it was the hip jump at the bottom of the park, they builtit up for the comp, so the measurements were about 65 feet from the lip to the start of the landing. it also sht you u about 25 or 30 ft, defnatly one of he best, and biggest jumps i've ever hit, it shit on the mt. sno comp jumps sizewise. anyways, derek klicks brother camron won the amatuer w/ very flawless 5 lui kangs, and phil grabs. liam beat me his flawless corke 7 tails, they were a thing of beauty, he crashed going really big doing a cork 9. my jumps were a corked 7 safty, then a corked 5 safty that i was really pumped about stomping, and I went for broke onthe last jump doing a corked 9 safty, but trveling too far and not pulling out the landing, i was excited though, it felt really cool. alright, liam beat me out, well, becasue he's fucking sick, and got the $155 andskis, while i got $100 and skis. it was a good day and ended with an intense session of the okemo rolla coasta rail. if anyone wanted more info on the day, reply back

yah you guys were throwing down sick tricks....liam is insane. the jump was monsterous

 
malczyc, were you there with a black puffy coat and no hat or helmet when you were sessioning the rollercoaster...cause i saw someone with scratches grease the entire rail..it was sweet

ya, that was me, that rail is fun as hell, i took some diggers on it, almost smashing my face into the fucker, okmeo's getting like 10-12 new rails, including an O rail, also they've put camoflauge boards under most or all of the rails, so they're safer

Dude the big air comp was fuckin sick. u guys were going HUGE!!! Props to anyone that did the comp.

hah yeah that was sick...did that guy whose friend was doing the follow cam for him ever get it?.....but yeah im just a beginer to rails and besides the really easy one in the zone there wasnt much for me...owell

ya, that was liam doing the follow, he did it a couple times, but i dont know if he got it on cam, thanks for the props dudes, it was a fun comp, and the best part is they're leaving that jump as it is!

 
yo the jump is definitly sweet, i was hitting it on monday cause i work at the okemo ski shop every weekend but ride allweek. wish i could have been out there. hey malcyk if yer gonna be up at okemo at all any weekdays in Feb. let me know cause im like the only skier in the park during the week
