i totally understand you skidemon. even if i did get a good deal on bindings, i would like to know if there was something wrong with them before i bought them

And u cant complain if ur dumbass cant put the binding bakc together. If u didnt know how to put it back together.. why the fuck would u take it apart. Common sense here please

i havnt delt with MALONE but from reading this, the toe peice was fine, it broke hes fixing the problem, the brake broke, he gave you a new one, you fucked it up, not his fualt at all.
 
malones legit. as i see it hes going out of his way to help this kid out. a broken break isnt that big of a deal, and if hes going to find him a toe peice whats the problem. i bought some tms off malone last year for mad cheap and i got them in the same condistion as stated, and they arived faster than i would have expected.
 
the only problem was that he didnt tell before he shipped them. but he is fixng the problem so im chill witht that. and they took weeks to get here and he didnt give me a real good condition report, regardless of the amount of the times i asked .
 
my understanding is that he shipped it out with the toepiece intact and it was damaged in transit. if the toepiece was broken already he probably wouldn't have even shipped it to you. and the brake really is a non issue since anyone should be able to replace it. so, i don't really see what you're complaining about, since the toepiece was fine when he shipped it out and he's offering to replace it for you now. how is that not letting you know the condition?
 
from what i here is that it took weeks to get to you because you didnt pay right away. and whats the problem with not telling you about the break. i've so many breaks without any shop knowledge.
 
no, im talking about the skis i bought off of him. it would of been nice tho just too have heads up that the brake was broken. thats all i wanted. and it isnt that hard to type me a message during the 2 and a half weeks they were in transit.

and yes they were probably broken whike in transit due no padding/ packing peanuts/ newspaper to keep things from shifting. he just threw it in a box and shhipped.
 
i've shipped many skis and never used any form of foam or newspaper in the box. i just put the skis in the box and send them. i've never had skis come with any form of protection other than the box aswell.
 
it was the bindings that needed the better packing not the skis. i just wanted a better report on the skis condition before i bought them
 
This is absolutely outrageous. I don't really think I need to defend MALONE (everyone else alread has), but I AM going to reiterate that you shouldn't have taken the brakes apart if you don't know what you're doing. Since he's replacing the toepiece and you can prolly buy a new brake super cheaply anyways (you got a hell of a deal on the bindings) THERE IS NO FUCKING problem. You're most likely not going to be skiing in the near future anyways.

I don't know why everyone's being an ass to his sister though...I'd be more pissed about that than the bindings.
 
dude how is this the sellers fault he send an extra brake and he said he will fix the toepice. skiermon if you cant put it together then dont take it apart its ur fault for trying to take it apart dont blame the seller cuz u cant put it together what a fuking tool.
 
I am about to send you money for skis MALONE, and everything ive seen in your sales has been more than assuring that you are honest. Ive seen your sales with plenty of pictures of the sale items, so i figured it wasnt necessary to ask for pics. If i can trust someone without every talking to thim, just from a 3rd party experience, id say you are, again, the least shady seller on NS. So i agree with your story and your reasoning.
 
HAS THIS KID EVER THOUGHT ABOUT TAKING THE HEELPIECE AND THE TOE PIECE TO A SHOP AND GET SOMEONE TO CHECK IT OUT? or put it back togethr if hes having trouble? fuck. thats the first place id go instead of shipping them back to change the damn brake

Regardless, he's making the shit right, be happy, he sent extra parts, be happier. Shut up and be happy for what youre getting post-sale! He coulda left you high and dry....he's helped out many-a-kid on here while still payin his rent, it's a win-win. He needs about 100 more of these "bad"(which isnt really even all that bad) threads to fuck up his cred. 1/10th.

You do not touch the bindings unless you know what you are doing and certified for it. you start taking apart a binding at all, and you could seriously screew it up perminantly. Why did you not just get the break replaced when you had the ski remounted and adjusted for your boot.
