well its not really computer help, but anyway ill just explain it.

so i have this .wmv file sitting on my computer (its a song) but its protected! so i can't import it into iTunes and listen to it. im bummed. anyone know how to or of a program that will take a file and un-protect it so i can put it into iTunes.

or better yet, anyone know where i can get "Through Glass" by Stone Sour? its not supposed to be released till august, but you can listen to it online (http://www.musicremedy.com/audio/6376) so theres gotta be a way to get it. i hope. thanks.

Burn the song to a CD via Windows Media. THEN put it on iTunes. Ad yeah, Limewire. Im downloading a $500 program right now for free on it

ok

1) ive alread tried. the CD doesnt even release till august (its NOT ON limewire/soulseek/ares/etc)

2) i didnt really download it. i went into the code of the page, copied the song address, made my own html doc and linked it. then saved from there

there is a program that can unlock protected songs, i had it on my computer but accidentally uninstalled it when i was doing some house cleaning... lemme try to dig it up

1. get a double sided audio cord.

2. plug the cord into the speaker out jack and the MIC in or audio in jack.

3. download Audacity

4. open Audacity

5. Play the song

6. Hit record in Audacity

7. export to mp3 once song is done
