so, I've heard good thinga about the AR5's I'm tryin' to decide between the 180 AR5's or the 179 PE's. Any thoughts?

that's a big difference in prices there. If you wanna spend the money, get the Armadas, but if you don't wanna spend $575, get the PE

^ yeah what he said. The PEs are cheaper but the Armadas are supposed to be better, haven't ridden them.

what would u rather buy, a bmw 5 series, or a toyota camry? Camry is a lot less expensive, but not as agood a ride as the 5 series

if ya got $ armadas, but if u wanna get good skis 1 or 2 years from now get the PEs. i found them at the usoutdoorstore.com or somthin for 340.

 
ive seen the ar5s and they hardly have any back tip, and the topsheet is shiny, so you can see every little scrape or mark on the top, and makes them look old and shitty, but it is up to you.

 
the back tip is big i don't know what you are talking about..and wow there's a scratch on my skis! i can't use them!

 
ive rode em both and to tell you the truth i liked the pe better .... sure i felt cooler on the armadas but hey... for the price go for pe's and by some s912's or p12's with the difference... its like a whole setup for 575 or just the armada boards for that price

 
They both fuckin rock! But i would choose PE so you have extra spending money, its still a super sick ski!

there both a good ski i'm cheap and would usually go for the PE but i got a friend who runs a newschool section at a shop and will probably hook the AR5's up for me just as cheap, but overall the ar5 is probably better
