Oink users unite!

i'm on ratio watch =o. If you guys could download some of my torrents, my user name is donots06 I would really appreciate it. Just enough to get me off ratio watch.
 
aye. a friend gave me an invite like a year ago and i took it for granted and didnt use it. then when i went to try i was no longer a member. they're like torrent nazis
 
i'm getting booted very shortly b/c i couldnt figure out how to upload torrents. awesome site though
 
^^ they don't boot u till u've downloaded over 10 gigs i think so just pause ur downloads at 9.99 and then start uploading so ur rating goes up
 
Its 5 gigs when the ratio requirements kick in. And i felt the need to bring back this thread because of how sick OiNK is. I download albums at 1.6 MEGABYTES/SECOND. I get entire albums in less than a minute at times...it is amazing.
 
Someone toss me an invite. I still use Demonoid and like it (no ratio requirements for one) but I may want to check out the Oink.
 
i realize, contrary to friend here, that invites are very valuable, and thats probably the reason I don't have one yet (hint clear enough?)

how should i go about increasing my ratio? downloading popular stuff? i don't have anything that isn't already on the site, heck i haven't bought a real cd or a while? i've been seeding everything i've downloaded for a while now but i've uploaded 3.2 MB...
 
yo dude the key is this...

go to Browse, then go page to page, and find the torrents that have 1 seeder and have like 10-15 leechers, those are popular torrents. Get that shiz and your ratio should sky rocket.
 
This is why you don't give out invites to random people who don't understand the rules of the fucking site. If you invite someone that does this, you loose your ability to invite people.
 
So do 50% of the people that join the site. Not joking. Its not that hard to figure out, you just have to open your ports and make sure your firewall isn't blocking your ability to be clever a.k.a. upload
 
Dude i told you. Go into the forums and ask everything. They know everything, and chances are somebody else has already had your problem, and the answer is in the forum somewhere.
