this is going to be my first year at camp. was wondering if i could get some help on what i should bring. was there anything that when you got to camp you were like 'shit i should have brought'...?

two water bottles, you get so dyhdrated so fast when you're up at the glaciar.
dark lenses, for the sun, remember it's summer so the sun is gonna be super bright.
hoodies and t shirts, it gets really warm there and you won't wanna be wearing a jacket.
sunscreen, i didn't wear it when i went and i got the worst sunburn on my face that ive ever gotten in my life.

Those are the four things that when i got back from camp, i thought, "oh shit i should have brought them."

don't forget to bring loads of drugs and alcohol to camp with you, and to offer some to the organisers, especially if you're underage.

Bring that jacket anyway!! Chances are you won't need it but the weather gets crazy. I've seen it snow in July, and I wished I had my jacket.

id bring energy/gronala bars. there the best when your tired and hungry, but not fiendin for a meal yet. plus they dont get to fucked up in a pant pocket like crackers or something else might.

i cant stress enough: SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN

def bring a jacket still when i went it was like 40 every day and i was freezing cause the year before it was so warm so im like fuck this year im not sweating my ass offin a heavy jacket and ended up freezing instead. def sunscreen, a backpack so you can bring ur stuff up the glacier with u, a couple big water bottles, lots of money

make sure you have a bright light lens. fire iridium is good for oakley... solex is good for smith

ha yeah, definitely one of the days i was there it was 40 degrees and raining, it was freezing. but just saying that you'll end up probably not wearing it much if at all.

definitely

at the second darkest lens in the line, they should be perfect.

there is a mad sale on freeskier/jiberish colabs on freeskier.com i.e. around $35 dollars

pm for coupon code.

some park gloves. i went to hood last year with my normal winter gloves and my hands sweated so bad i just ditched them. the problem with that was that every time i fell i cut my hand to pieces. thin spring gloves are required

chapstick or anything you prevents lips from splitting

forgot it last year, most pain ful thing, my lips burnt really badly

I got that last year at camp. It sucked so bad. So sunscreen is crucial.
I can vouch for spring/pipe gloves too. My winter ones were way too hot.
You'll want long sleeve shirts, because falling on that stuff is no fun in a tee. You'll be bloodied up real fast when you combine learning and bare arms.
Dark lenses are a good idea, but I was alright with my pink irid lens. It didn't bother me at all, and that's a fairly bright lens to begin with. You don't NEED one.
And another thing would be spare boot liners maybe? I don't know if you're going to Whistler or not, but if you are and were planning on water ramping, skiing the next day in wet boots is not a fun thing.
Have fun!

my first time at summer campp i was stupid enough not too bring a backpack, bad mistake

sunscreen for the lips

last time i went i regreted not bringing my skateboard

sunglasses

SUNSCREEN!! It's stupid expensive in the village so it's good to bring your own.

Skateboard if you skate.

I would bring a clear/persimon-like lens with a nice darker one for sunny day

I would bring a Shell and a hoddie

long sleeve

sunscreen, lip thing, light gloves

The weather can be from snowing, ice rain, rain, bluebird sky or all at the same

Other than on the glacier I don't know

Have fun
