DAng !!

I just cant buy twins ANYWHERE in my contry !!! Cant order them online coz all the stores are situated in america and or canada which makes them twice as expensive (or the dont even ship) to europe.Ok I found this one online store in austria but they only sell scratches and 1080's but as Ive read on the forum the 1080's arent particullary "popular".Mind you I am the regular begginer to freesking and ill never do rails.

-so what I ask you is this, are the 1080 really really that crap or would be satisfied for a begginer user?

-do you know of ANY online store in europe that would sell me k2 pe's (or any other twintip brand besides volkl, elan and salomon), coz these are the skis id buy more than anything

cheers for any news

rossi scratches are a great ski...

aalright, heres the narrowed choice, from the soulx and bluetomato store :

Line eric pollard

Line chronic

Salomon 1080

Rossi scratch

these skis are the only ones I can afford and can be sent to my country.Im leaning towards the pollards, so Id like yor opinion two, on my first 'real' twins ever.

cheers !!

you don't need to start with the best, why woudl you spend an inate amount of money on the best of the best, when you don't even know if you will stay in it. For now i think the scratches, or 1080s will do fine.

Matman10: Man lat you had that 7 down but you binder poped off

Laterails:Yeah i think they aren't adjusted, or it could be the fact that all that is holding them together is one of my pubes

I wouldn't go for a ski you won't enjoy. Like someone else up there said, check out dstructure and look at what kind of skis you can afford from there. The scratches are an amazing ski, you'll have a lot of fun with them in and out of the park.

A bad day skiing is better than a great day doing anything else

If you are more a backcountry guy, the Pollards are PERFECT for you. They rip backcountry but are great on groomed runs too (i.e. the park) If those are a reasonable price, definitely get them

I dream of winter.

chronics are a great allmountain ski, and pollards are better at powder.

'Duran Duran bought Armada, Armada bought Microsoft, Microsoft bought MSP and AOL, AOL owns Time4 which owns the MountainSportsMedia which owns SKi, Skiing and RIP Freeze... so Armada now owns McDonalds and Coke.

hey,

mat its not that Im into this new, I did backountry and all that for quite along time, some park too..nothing progressive tho...Just like to improve.

I think I already decided Im gonna go pollards

cheers
