Offseason training

What types of excercises and drills do you guys do to get ready for the season? Right now I am doing running and weight lifting but I know there are excercises out there that are more ski oriented. I have been thinking about doing some box jumping drills to build power for leaping. So yeah, what all do you guys do...other than smoking and rollin "phat blunts" in the offseason?

I do two things;

1) I rock climb - not only is this a kick ass sport with a simmilar vibe and culture to skiing it is the only sport that uses every single muscle in the body, lifting weights does strengthen the bigger muscle but not your balancing muscles (which are very important in skiing)

2) I make a list of goal for next season (ticks want to do, lines I want to ski, etc.) don't be afraid to make it a little long. doing this will help you focus when the season acually comes

swimming. works on the flexibility and keeps all the joints and muscles in shape. nothing out there that's better exercise than swimming.

if your just looking to build muscles for skiing do that thing where you sit against a wall but as if you're on a chair. killer for your thighs! if you wanna hav fun, come to europe or south america, get the beers in and watch the world cup with die hard fans!
