DISCUSS, JOIN ME IN ATTEMPTING TO IMITATE THEM, BE AMAZED BECAUSE THEY JUST THREW CORK 1440'S ON FLAT GROUND.
 
i'm not going to watch these videos because a year of trying this shit has only allowed me to cork 7 on flat ground
 
a cork in tricking is nowhere close to a beginner move dude thats fucking dope....

by the end of the first year i'll be happy if i can do TDraiz-gainer-st-gainer
 
anyone who is just trying this is a fucking idiot... go to a gym, sign up for a class with a real gymnastics coach, and learn the right way. otherwise you're going to hurt yourself.
 
or don't be a pussy, save money, and go learn at your own pace in a safe setting.

this isn't gymnastics anyways, gymnastics coaches won't teach you any of these tricks, neither will martial arts teachers. there are no teachers.
 
being safe =/= being a pussythis being a skiing website with an average age of 15, I'm betting that most of these kids would have no problem paying for a gymnastics classthis is exactly gymnastics. a gymnastics coach may not teach you how to do a cork 7, but I promise that he can do one. he'll teach you air awareness, how to properly take off and land, the best way to spin yourself, and how to fall without hurting yourself
I guarantee you that most of the people in these videos have some sort of background in gymnastics, dancing or martial arts and took real classes to an advanced level.
 
First off, there's no cork 7 in tricking.. it's just a cork.

And see vellu's video? He has no background in gymnastics or martial arts and he threw dub backs at the age of 16

 
i taught my self to cork 7 off flat ground by use of a trampoliene. i would do flat ground backflips and cork 7's on the tramp then took it to the ground. if you can jump hard and have the muscle memmory right it will work out. i do mine with out doing roundoffs in to it. i can just do it standing liek a standing backflip. it takes alot of leg power tho.

gymnastic classes can go both ways. sometimes they can be boring because they are not teaching at your personal learning curve. everyone can learn air awearness you just have to take precautions. trampoliene is a great way to learn this stuff. and cliff jumping in to water.
 
It's not gymnastics and most of the best truckers in the world had no training in any of the categories named... There are no such things as tricking "lessons" so shut up about something you have no idea about

I never said that there were "tricking lessons." however, when I took gymnastics classes, some of the floor routines that the coach would demonstrate to us were just as, if not more impressive than some of the stuff in these videos.
I'm not saying that you can't learn tricking without taking classes, because obviously that isn't true. I'm saying that a good way to begin learning how to properly jump, throw your body and land would be to take a gymnastics class.
 
yeah but many trickers think that's what it's all about - learning the moves yourself and being a "backyard" athlete

gymnastics classes would and do help tricking obviously because some of its roots lie in gymnastics routines but they certainly aren't necessary. it's just like skiing. you and i and hundreds of others NSers saw a youtube video at one point of Tom Wallisch or CR or Henrik or Tanner or another skier and though "WOW thats cool i'm going to go do that"

i doubt any NSers ever took a freestyle skiing lesson, they just went out and attempted to imitate what they saw in some youtube videos which is essentially the same thing as how most people get into tricking
 
tricking is a terrible name for a sport, sorry. i guess "freestyle gymnastics" sounds worse though.

ugh.. Raiz is killing me! Any hints to get it fast? Impossible to swing through my sloppy raiz, ha.
 
I love how fucking stoked everybody in the gym gets when somebody lands something in tricking edits.
 
Tricking is so sick. I've wanted to learn how since I first saw some guys doing it in the gym, but its so hard.
 
Well some of the shit is. There are a few videos of people using the same movements in fights or in MMA.
