Official Tremblant Thread

Ya, my bro (roobeano) and I ill be there march 20th, Any one know if there's some backcountry trails there? Cause living in Ottawa and with this shitty weather, havent got the chance to try it yet.

It snowed 5cm on 2/3 of the mountain. The bottom part recieved nothing. Everything was open in the park except the 3rd jump. Spring conditions today it was fun, but watch your speed.

Yeah for the first there is no set area to drop in. Some hit the rails and can straight line to the first some can do 1 or 2 speed checks and some gotta start way above the rails and straight line it from there to make it.

sick week of skiing, except for seperating a rib.

shout out to everyone who was at tblant, finally actually met some nsers

Crazy week, bunch of double attempts on the 1st jump and a dub cork 12 on the T4 jump was so sick to see in real life.

yeah today was crazy... but the best day ive had at tremblant all season. gotta love spring sessions. the jam was super fun today. i got a vid of a double front on the first jump. ill post it up when its on my comp. i didnt do the double btw. another crazy bastard did lol

jesus shit. doubles at 16 wow.

yeah i was there for 3 days over march break, blue pants, black orage jacket.

there was a 14 year old trying dubs in white/black/red jacket sunday. didnt land it, but tried it to it every hit he took on the jump

anyone see the kid try a double front on his snowboard and land on his neck? someone has it on their gopro. hopefully the kids alright and the vid gets posted on here lol

^was that on saturday? I saw some snowboarder case the first big jump, but it looked like he tried to stop, caught an edge, and then face planted into the knuckle.

haha naw that was today. and yeah i saw that guy too.. i went up to the jump to help him haha he was drunk as fuckkkk. so i guess we were standing in the same place...

yes. i watched it happen with my own eyes. i was right above the rail & box before the jumps when he went for it.

he slowed down waaaaay to much and he did like a flip and quarter and then cased on his head/shoulder/ribs. it looked rough as hell. patroll everywhere took a while to get him out of there and down.

How the coverage?

Also, from the pics that they posted on FB, it looks like they took the up down, rainbow, and setup a t4 down box, on the bunny hill for a burton comp.

Is it still there, cus that would be sick to hike after they close the lifts.

Coverage is great just about everywhere. Super hard base in the mornings but everything is really nice once the sun softened things by about 1pm

Shitty if they keep the april 10th closing. Maybe they should make up for those 2-3 weeks they said they would be open last season at the beginning.

^It all has to do with wether or not they can make money. My dad was talking to one of the staff and they said that the majority of staff also work at the golf courses and they need them to start work there. Also, the majority of people still skiing are seasons pass holders, they aren't making any profit except from the cafeteria at the top.

^did you really expect them too? Its intrawest, all they care about is making money.

They're opening next season on november 24ths, thats bs, they could easily open a week earlier, if not two, if the weather is cold again. They blow so much snow. Why not open with one run off the tgv or lowell thomas in october, like other EC resorts (killington, even avila opens that early and they barely have any vertical).

Considering I drove home in a blizzard on Sunday and Marc Dandurand skied powder yesturday I would say there is some good snow up there if you are interested in hiking.
