Is there something/somewhere for this other than just creating another thread? Perhaps sticky a thread at the top of this forum subdivision for this very purpose?

-I've got a suggestion though: For the menu bar on mobile that has the upload/quote/notification/message/search buttons currently, is there any way to make that always be at the top of the screen no matter where you are at in the thread? It would be nice to not have to always scroll to the top to use these functions. I realize the app has it at the bottom, but the app still has some major issues that make the mobile browser my preferred way of accessing the site.

-Also there's no way to add polls to threads without putting your phone in desktop mode first.
 
Wouldn't you rather save more space for reading content than have that user bar? I don't see a potential benefit because the bar updates only when you refresh or go to a new page and unless you are specifically visiting a post on a forum, you will always see it first before anything.

No the extra space is not an issue. The app uses this space and is not an issue. Also the point is not for refreshing (although that would be convenient to auto refresh the bar but not the page). The point is when you log in for the day and have 10 notifications. Everytime you read a thread, you have to scroll to the top to get to the menu bar again in order to go to the next notification.

Fair point, i use mobile browser quite a bit and dont see this as an issue but if other users would like to see this feature then we can put it on the list
