The grab selector only works with buttons at the moment. If you set them to the keyboard they will work on the controller though.

Here's how the keys map to the right thumbstick.

Z --> top right

X --> right

C --> bottom right

V --> bottom

B --> top

A --> top left

S --> left

D --> bottom left

can someone explain how and if you can edit a level that someone already made? Also how to change the color of features?
 
My only comment is that it would be cool to save your gear and grabs so you can use them when you are offline, such as on a plane or something.

Other than that I'm just pumped at how far the game has come along.

It won't be available in the upcoming update, but I aim to have grabs and gear save to your device in the following update.

There's no way to edit other levels. I would love to have a sort of multiplayer level editor someday. It was possible to modify other people's levels a while ago when you had to copy/paste a code. There was a community level thread on here and everyone kept adding stuff to it.

For colors, type in "featurecolors" while in the level editor on the web version. You'll get a little popup warning you about saving your level in older versions.
 
When will the download version get sounds? The web client is unplayable for me, and it looks like shit as well when compared to desktop version.
 
I have the downloaded version for MacBook as well as the mobile version. I changed my gear with the gear selector and my mobile character is good but downloaded version remains with default gear no matter how many times I sign in?

The gear will only work on the website version and mobile version. I don’t think Malcolm has updated the download version yet.
 
With the items creator, it says hoodie under 'jackets' Is it safe to assume we will be getting more types of items? maybe fatter skis? or baseball caps?
 
When I click the play button on the first menu I get stuck on a frozen HBO ad. It says I can skip in 5 sec but doesn't change and won't let me skip. I don't have adblocker on either. It's been happening for about a week. Anyone else have this?

Yup! I still have a few things to iron out though. Here's the code for a little test with an all black snapback: 8fg2Ek. Note: It won't work on mobile and I'm 90% sure mobile players just won't load your character at all. But it should work on the web version other than a small glitch in the gear selector where it isn't placed on the guy's head correctly. **Edit: It crashes the game if you try to go back into the gear editor**

Fatter skis would break the grabs a little since the guy's hand would go through the skis. I'd like to add them in anyway. It's not ideal but worst-case we could just make fat ski specific grabs.

Weird, try clearing your cache. I don't have a lot of control over the video ads, I'll look into making my own skip button.

Type in "debugotron" and you'll get the debug console show up on your screen. If you take a screenshot of that screen while that level loads it would really help me track down the issue!

The downloadable is smoother than the WebGL version. I'm going to make the downloadable version paid though. I wish there was a way to have it free with ads but that doesn't look like it's possible. I don't want to release a paid version that's broken so I have a little more work to do before its official release.

Also for clothes it would be cool to see Tee shirts, Sunglasses, Mittens, and higher quality, when I add images they are always fuzzy

For sure! Mittens will look sick. I dropped the resolution a little after realizing how much disk space thee gear editor was taking. I'd like to increase the resolution for things like hoodies and skis, and lower them for things like poles, gloves, bindings.

Again, don't really have anything to say other than Malcom is the man for coming here and solving our personal problems.

Also I'd be glad to pay for the downloadable version too, that shit is a godsend when I have to go on two month long business trips to mines in the middle of Africa
 
two things. First, none of my controls ever save whenever i leave the website. (yes i have an account)

two, I would also pay for a downloadable version, so it wouldn't be laggy.
 
The shredsauce community have gotten insane tha past few weeks. They have even made gangs that hate on eachoter. Crips vs. Bloods all over
 
Ola, is there still a way to play to the old shredsauce (like the bdog one) ? it doesn't work on any browser with my mac even with unity player installed.
 
Running into an issue where my grab doesn't work on the ground even though I check the box for "works on ground" before saving the grab. Anyone have this issue/know how to fix it?
 
This game is the best game I have ever played no cap. I’ve been addicted for about a year. Anyways I’ve always thought it would be cool if the skis left tracks in the snow. Like just slight indents, but they stay there until you exit the map

Maybe itd be easier to have them stay for an amount of time. Imagine u did a 3 hour session or something, and how many ski trails the game's gotta keep track of. I think that's a sick idea though. Maybe thered be different snow textures that leave different amount of indent for how deep the snow is.
 
Pretty much 50% of the time when i first play on mobile and open the menu and an ad pops up, it makes all the buttons unpressible. I cant respawn, crouch, jump, etc. Like i said, some days it doesn't do this at all and others it happens every time i reload the app
