I hate old people. Well, not true. I hate miserable, selfish, bitchy old people, which happens to be 75% of anyone over the age of 65.
Old people hate stories. post 'em.

I love my grandparents. My grandfather passed away a month ago :'(

Old people are only that way because they are lonely, and lacking companionship and probably because people treat them like dirt
 
fuck you old people rule!

I LOVE OLD PEOPLE, most of them are so genuinely sweet and kind... besides a few here and there. but that's the same with any generalized population. plus they are so cute
 
i guarantee that my grandma can out drink anybody on this website with straight scotch.

But in all seriousness, old people are awesome. I work hospice and the patients have the greatest stories and advice
 
^ They have the best stories. if i am sitting on a long flight without my ipod a freindly old person sitting next to you is just as good as tv or your ipod
 
Old people have nothing but the best of intentions but they can be so unbelievably stupid sometimes.... and they're ALWAYS stubborn, no matter how wrong they are, because that USED to be the way it was. Other than that, (and being SHITTY drivers) old people are pretty damn chill.

That said, MediCare/Aid and Social Security really need a lot of work. SS can stay, but the age needs to be raised up to at least 70, with a modified taxation plan, but MediCare and MedicAid have no place in the real world. Yes, they're helpful, but unfortunately they are not even remotely economically practical.

It would be political suicide to do that, though- You'd have lots of angry enfranchised old people (and republicans, who are really just more old people, sometimes disguised as young folk). That said, after a few decades there wouldn't be as many old people left and everyone would see how much better the world is without them.

NOW ITS YOUR TURN TO DECIDE WHETHER I HATE OLD PEOPLE, LIKE OLD PEOPLE, OR DON'T GIVE TWO FUCKS EITHER WAY!
 
Hahahahaha maybe you're just an asshole and there's a reason they don't like you?

Anybody can be an asshole.... Old people are generally super cool from what I've found. Just don't be a prick man, maybe they'll start liking you.
 
Man, I love listening to old people's stories, pretty much all of the old people I know are super nice, funny, and tend to know a lot. They are just all around fucking awesome

Not really old people, but kind of.

So today, I decided to be a kind and considerate daughter, and that I would spend the day skiing with my parents and their friends.

Now, Whistler is my home mountain, and we were all skiing to creekside. There's not much snow, and there were snowmaking machines everywhere, making the run pretty unpleasant because of the fucking bullets of ice that it produces, and also the mound of powder that it leaves beneath it.

So my parents are getting to be a little older, and their knees are starting to go, so they were taking it pretty easy heading down the run. I was skiing behind them, and I could see a couple of around my age snowboarders going down the side of the run just trying to get past my slow as fuck family members.

My mom's friend sees them, and thinks that they are "riding dangerously" and flags them down, and starts telling them off. So, I can see that the poor snowboarders are totally overwhelmed and I go over and sort of apologize, and try to get my parents friends to back the fuck off.

Anyways it was pretty embarrassing, I got some very pitiful looks from the boarders. And the man who was talking to the snowboarders kept on complaining about it for the rest of the day too.

But on the mountain there is some serious conflict between old and young..

 
After a hurricane i was climbing this tree and a old bitch was yelling at me so i threw a stick at her and she called the cops

old people are awsome dude, love em whil they last, my grandpa died less than a year ago from a brain tumor.
 
i love old people, especially my grandpa before he passed away. He was the most influential person in my life, before he was diagnosed with alzthimers and when he had it. There's so many funny storys, as bad as it sounds some of the things he'd say were so funny, and sometimes things got scary. I love the guy to death and glad i got to spend 17 years with him
 
I love old people. I work at a nursing home sometimes and I get such a kick out of them... they're so funny!

Old people are nicer to me then any 45 year old. you sir = dumbass
 
I think you have had a few bad experiences. Even if old people are ass holes, you've got to respect them. They been and seen and done a lot more than you and there might be a reason why they act the way they do. Every single old person I know is the exact opposite of what you just described so simmer down.
