So if you're looking for a fellow NSer the official proper way to do it is as thus:

Q - "How do you get to chads gap from the bottom of alta?"

R - "Ski Patrol blew it up."

At that point, by the NS code you are hereby required to take at least one run together.

yeah only because alta is building a massive terrian park in grizzly, their putting the main 100+ foot jump were chads use to be. Also their putting a two story down down c rail like in propagana, a snow loop, making the 50+ foot cliffs in grizz part of the park, and getting Jon to be their head designer
 
The other day I talked to a guy waiting for the park to open and I asked him

if he was on NS. Hes like "Yeah! Im Daver_BC whats your name?" anyways

we talked for a bit then he was like "have you seen that thread where

you ask people if they know how to get to chad's gap from the bottom of

alta?" anyways I had and long story short I decided I would ask a bunch

of people with twin tips this question. Well... ultimate failure. Every

one of them that I asked (this is besides all of the NSers I already

knew) were like "umm are you serious?"

Yes I copy pasted this from when I posted it in the other thread, but im lazy and thats my experience so far with the NS callout heh~

 
why do you care what we do compared to tgr? why do you always defend them? why not just stop bitching about where we got it from/how stupid of an idea it was originally and just go for it? and, this isn't like do you have change for a nickel...alot more people ski park alone than big mountain/bc stuff...so this is a better thing for us anyways, and it is more interesting that 'hey you on ns?'
 
Is the idea of having a callout/response the idea we're stealing or the actual callout and response? The Chads gap thing is a pretty huge joke from NS days gone by and I doubt the meaning is as significant for TGR members as NS members. I seriously doubt that TGR came up with the idea of having a phrase to identify members. I think groups have been doing that for hundreds of years.

I could be wrong though.
 
Are you fucking serious? Do you actually think that TGR invented the web community callout? Get over it dude. Take TGR's granola dick out of your mouth.
 
stick to TGR if you hate NS so much....I've met many kids who have been in XXXL clothing and had no idea what newschoolers was. Only a true NSer would know the answer to the everhumoring chad's question. I personally hate TGR its the gayest online community which has even more hate than we managed to put on that pokeclipse site, and if you want to tell me its not then go ahead, i'm not gonna listen to it. I love newschoolers as much as you may love TGR or whatever, and if you are gonna hate on this site, then just take it to TGR with all those old farts. Yeah I might end up getting lost in the backcountry when im 30, but for now im gonna stick to the newschool doing flippy spinny tricks and proudly wear my unusually (or usually in our case) large clothing on the hill. I love having FUN, and right now for me thats riding the park whenever possible. I know you have been here for a long time or whatever and I have only been on this site for a year, but still. This is the strongest online community who I bet if we all hung out in real life, we probably wouldn't witness the hate-fest that we see on the forums. Every NSer I have ever met has been a chill person, a cool guy (havent met a NS girl yet in real life), who is just stoked to be on the mountain, having a good time, no matter how good or bad you are at skiing, which is a beautiful thing. And if I am completely wrong about you hating NS, at least I put my point out there for anybody that does. Peace.
 
saying "hey you on ns?" would be stealing it from anywhere, how original.

"hey you work at staples?" you contradicted yourself there bud and not everyone on ns wants a ns sticker plasterd on there gear
 
I asked a few fellow skiers, clearly park rats, "how doyou get to chads gap from the base of alta" and they threatened to beat me up and then later saw them again and they told me they were going to find and kill me.... so im gonna try again this weekend
 
dude, if you have such a big problem with it, then just don't use the call out. don't be such a killjoy.

You guys realize 95% of NS will never read this thread, and not know what the hell your talking about EVEN if they have NS?
 
does anyone realize that there are kids who are good at park who arent on ns?

and u dont have to wear huge clothes to be good?

from the kid who JUST said you would ski away laughing at somebody who basically just wanted to have a little newschoolers chat with you? thinking somebody isn't worth your time JUST because they asked you the new "official NS callout?" ya. don't hate what you don't know. good advice.
