Debate whos better, whos gona win the cup and what not

BTW detroit will win the cup again GO WINGS!!!

detroits too good its not fair, i think calgary will have a good year though, cammilari iginla and bertuzzi is a sick line

I'll only comment on the teams I've seen so far...

Detroit: Back to their dominant ways after a slightly embarrassing loss to the Leafs on banner raising night.

Minnesota: Improved their record in season openers at home to 5-0 with a solid win over Boston. The new players they brought in seem to be clicking nicely. If Zidlicky can come back healthy and produce and they can get control of the Gaborik situation, they'll be in the running for the Northwest.

Colorado: A lot better than their 0-2 record indicates. They lost a close one to Boston and one they should have won against Edmonton.

Washington: Scary good. With Ovechkin and Semin (2 goals tonight) both poised to have 50 goal seasons, they're one of the teams to beat in the East.

Vancouver: Looked great against Calgary, not so much against Washington.

Boston: Put up a good fight against both Colorado and Minnesota. They should continue their rise from the bottom of the league.

Toronto: Probably played their best game of the year against Detroit in the season opener.

Calgary: I only saw them against Vancouver, and I know they are a better team than that. Still waiting to see what they're capable of this year.

I have Center Ice this year, so I'll be watching a lot of hockey. Should be a fun season, especially if someone can keep Detroit from running away with the league.

This is the year of the Habs, look at our top 3 lines, the offense looks unstoppable better watch out for the habs, and I can't wait to have georges laraque in the line up

top dogs:
detroit (as usual)
montreal
washington
san jose

possible dark horses:
tampa bay
chicago

I enjoyed beating Calgary 11-4, home and home

losing 5-1 to caps wasnt so good

we can only wait and see. the lines look promising but i'm guessing we';ll come middle of the west again, justm issing a playoff spot, unless a move is made.

im sorry, but living in chicago my whole life has made me realize that no pro team will ever win, so you can count out the hawks, and how has nobody mentioned the Pittsburgh penguins, they could be good this year

this is the sharks year... if they can step up the offense to its true potential, they will be unstoppable. their defense is also revamped with boyle. they lost campbell, but he was wayyy overpaid by chitown.

You know, as true as that stuff may be, I absolutely hate hearing it. If you can't find anything worthwhile to mention before that, you don't really have an agrument. The hawks won't win the cup this year, but with the young talent and energetic new ownership they have, you can expect them to start showing up in the playoffs.

dont count the pens out, we have more expierence. even though we lost hossa we signed a few young guys who have potential

Habs boieeeee! Stoked for Laracque, stoked on 100 years of great hockey, stoked on another Stanley Cup!

im not saying that the hawks don't have potential, but like all other chicago teams, when push comes to shove, and they somehow beat detroit(haha, no) and get to the cup finals, something will happen, i.e. pat kane gets hurt, coach gets hit with puck and is knocked out for the series. so basically what im saying is that when it comes to chicago and sports teams, SOMETHING WILL HAPEN

yeah dude i just got back from it SO SICK bertuzzi gettin 2 goals, Iginla got in another fight, both goalies were terrible but overall it was a good game

you must be pretty young. if im not mistaken the bulls were one of the greatest dynastys in the nba, and the white sox in 2005.
and the blackhawks made some serious changes in the off season, plus kane and toews are only getting better with age

short of michael jordan magically returning the his youth, i dont see the bulls winning anything in the near future, as for the sox, fuck em', i'd rather wait till next year, and truth the hawks have potential, i have stated that, but the wings are so stacked that theres no way that they could beat them.

Wow. Almost had to eat my words there.

CANNOT believe the bruins almost fought their way back.

I stopped watching after the first period to do some studying and when I went to see the score I flipped.

Why can't the ave's win a game yet. They rocked the pre-season and now we're losing by just one point every game. They better bring it back tonight.

their goaltending is brutal. there not going to have a very good year unless Budaj can stop something
