Players will fold. The average NFL player is in the league for 3 years. They only have 3 years to make their money from playing. The owner are already loaded, they made their money outside of football. They are in a lot better of situation, they are not going to feel the financial effects of the lockout. So, players will fold here sometime soon.... I hope.

oh my bad i must have imagined the last 3 season when he averaged over 1200 yards at over 30 years old and setting a pr for most td receptions in a season...oh and he also set a patriots franchise record for highest yardage total and third most number of catches in a season, and was a 2 year pro bowler with the pats

oh and tom brady set the NFL record for most touchdowns in a season with his help

We will see how the vikings do...McNabb better buck up and actually make an effort, he had good season in Philly, couldn't win the big one but was still a good QB. I'd personally rather just through Ponder in there.

I think the vikes should pick up some of these cut offensive linemen teams are parting ways with huge name linemen I'd take marc colombo and shaun o'hara any day on the line.

Sucks losing Rice to the seahawks but he is so injury prone...he played one full season and that was with favre...his other 3 seasons were all cut short due to injuries...his numbers are deceiving.
 
Perfect season is a large claim. Il be interested to see Atlanta vs. Eagles and Patriots vs. Eagles. Vick is good, but if you ask me he is largely over-hyped. Dont get me wrong, I think hes very talented, but hes not in the league of Brady, Rodgers, P Manning. He needs to prove himself again. To do that, you guys need to resign DeSean to give him a nice target.

Anyone claiming the Patriots are dumb for taking Haynesworth and Ochocinco need to get their head examined. They traded two 5th round picks and a 6th round pick to get both. If neither of them pan out, its a very small loss. Its a low-risk high-reward gamble. Any GM in their right mind would take a deal like that when similar actions have turned out well. IE Moss and Dillon.
 
thats 95% Moss and 5% Billicheck. Moss is arguably the most naturally gifted receiver ever, all Belicheck had to do was cheat and steal the defensive signals.
 
Well regardless if he can or cannot beat a double team, he takes two players out of blocking incoming LBs, DE, OTs, whatever he is not. This frees up those players to pressure the QB. He may not be a sack machine everyone thinks he is, but he has the potential to be and the potential to help a stellar D become even better.
