So I don't know if anyone already does this or if this has ever been done on here before but I'm going to assume not.

Basically anyone on here can play, it's just a fun, good realistic stock market game for all you finance majors out there. Anyone can play its just for fun but if it catches on maybe we can set up a prize of some sort.

Start with $200,000.00. Game goes on for a year (2/15/2012 - 2/13/2013) so I'm hoping this catches on!! Goodluck to anyone who joins. There are more detailed rules on the sight.

If you guys would like a more limited market I can reset it to a more advanced game but i just see that theres a lot of people here who dont really know too much about stock trading so i figured to make it as basic and fun for everyone as possible.
 
I'm in. I suggest we reset it and put it at 4 months instead of a year. This will retain interest, and also puts us more or less on a semester schedule. People tend to drift away over the summer.

Also, I will kick in $10 toward a prize if at least three people will match it. 50% to the winner, 30% to second, 20% to third.

Also I just set the game's ending date to May 31st 2012

If this game goes successfully there will definitely be a second one to follow.

Any one else interested in throwing in money for a cash prize to the top 3 earners?
