Anybody who says they don't find these shows entertaining...

a) hasn't given them due diligence

b) doesn't know pure entertainment if it hit them in the face

or

c) might have more of a heart than i do

all across the television landscape supposed "reality shows" attempt to entertain the masses with pre-determined story lines and faux paux "real" people.

there is NOTHING more real than the desperate situation these unfortunate young women find themselves in. MTV has done us all a favor and broadcast these tragedies for our enjoyment!!!
 
The mothers get paid to do the show, so in a sense, MTV is paying teenage girls to get knocked up. And the dads are always dicks/douches so the show can be funny as hell.
 
ive wondered about this. like how much do they get? is it straight cash or do they do the smart thing and say its a "college fund" for the babies or something???
 
the latest episode of 16&Preggers had this totally doofus dude who kicks the girl out the car when the babies were in the back, then gets his ass hauled off to jail for domestic violence - like can these people be any more trashy?? love it
 
haven't watched the show but it promotes teen pregnancy which isn't good. dumbass teens are getting knocked up in hopes to get on the show
 
yea its out of the world. mtv can claim all they want but these girls are being profited on to the tune of millions of dollars
 
Apparently it's like 15-30 thousand for a show in check form? I have no clue, don't take my word for it. And it's probably taxed too so there goes a chunk of it.
 
this chick i know is seriously considering going on that show

this is her and the father, she looks like she's 12. also, the guy looks like jim from the office imo.

The show is fucking bullshit. Its no wonder teenage pregnancies have skyrocketed in the US. Its a terrible fuckin example for young teens.

It should be taken off the air.
 
i wonder if the two of them have a strong family background. for the sake of the viewers lets hope that

a) her parents dont like him

b) he has an affinity for alcohol/excessive marijuana use or young supple girls who dont have babies yet

c) that the cameras will be rolling when the shit hits the fan. cause it will. it always does.
 
...my roommate and i watch it when we are having a bad day to cheer us up about our lives. early 20s, graduating college this year. we are horrible people, but honest.
 
Both of those shows are horrible, ya lets make teen pregnancy look good in the eyes of the public, i know it shows the entire thing, but they are on TV, making money, these shows say that if you are in the south and get pregnant at 16, you get to be on a TV show
