Try not to digitally zoom in so much that you lose quality

Also the beeps at the beginning were extremely annoying and there was no audio at all through the entire thing

Also have you heard the normal version of that song? It doesn't have the annoying parts with people talking in it

Ya my mic was out of batteries that day. I agree about the beeps and the digital zooming although I have much more flexibility with zooming in digitally now that I shoot 1080 as opposed to scaled down 720. I didn't know there was a different version of that song, I'll check it out.

Not Skiing But..First Project I did with my DSLR and pretty happy how it turned out.

Flow could have been a TON better, It lost my attention at about 2 minutes

Also try to be more creative and original. I understand that its your first project but literally there are 5 million stereotype videos out there. Also audio could have been better

Just put together a little demo reel, not entirely sure on it all so any input is appreciated!

I really liked that, the only thing i could think of was maybe export the video in 24 or 30 fps. I think the 60fps looks a little weird to the veiwer but thats just me, keep up the good work.

That was awesome! A ton of the shots were really really cool. I think you should add some more sound overall throughout the piece. Great job tho!

Thanks appreciate it! I would add more sound but a lot of the action was shot with the FS700 in S&Q mode so no audio there. A lot of the other stuff has bad background noise so I used the best bits of sound I had with the footage.

Would really appreciate hearing your thoughts about this, mostly just wondering whenever or not you find it boring to watch and what you think about the flow of it.

You have some really good shots in here but my biggest gripe is the use of all stabilizer shots. Everyone of your shots are composed the same way and it gets boring, instead of following the skier lead him try different types of shots. The use of the stabilizer is well done but when its for 3 minutes it gets old.

Thanks for the feedback! I will for sure keep that in mind next time and try to mix it up a bit. If anyone else watches it I would really appreciate hearing more thoughts about it, dosent have to be allot just whenever you find the style to boring or not really helps :)

I would reccomend adding a bit of broll every couple clips. Some shots like face shots, shots of the park, you know like cinematic stuff. An example of this really well done is We Are The Coterie by The Coterie. Look it up and you'll see what I'm saying!
