Ok, so as the title implies this tread is about cool teachers. Do you have (or have you had) a cool teacher? if so tell us a funny story. If you hate teachers and have one you particularly hate, tell us a funny story.
 
I have a pretty cool chem teacher. He's a cool teacher. He teaches us chemistry, but is also pretty cool. Needless to say, he's a cool teacher.

Also he threatened to choke out a kid who wasn't paying attention one day, then laughed and said to me "the best thing about choking him out is that it wouldn't leave any marks." He then chuckled, and continued to teach us chemistry.
 
I've had some great teachers who really cared about teaching you and being there for you, even for non school related things.

I've also had teachers who dont give a fuck, leave as soon as the bell rings, complain how they dont make enough (starting salary around here is like 55k), drink all day, do cocaine all day, and who are generally just miserable to be around.

Mrs smith, my 8th grade english teacher was a raging alcoholic. She would fill her coffee cup with whiskey all day. For a test my one friend fills it out with answer like, In a galaxy far far away, who cares he is dead, Anne frankly im sick of all these holocaust jokes. He got a 95 on the test. Brought it to the attention of the principal and literally nothing happened. He was forced to retake the test and the teacher was in no manner reprimanded. It's almost like schools don't do anything to get rid of teachers like this, because it's just easier to sweep it under the rug.
 
My favorite teacher asked my Filipino ex-gf if she was gonna "nail me on the cross" during the holidays after her telling him about Christmas traditions in the Philippines (which involved parades with people tied to crosses) He was blast.
 
Majority of teachers at my school are pretty chyll. You can actually talk to them as if they're your friend and get advice from them, It's a great relationship i never would have experienced at my public high school.
 
I had the absolute coolest Match teacher my last two years of high school. She was always down with everything and let the class be super open and talkative. She just really knew how to run a class. She also created the TI 84 calculator in some way and knew how to do everything with the damn things, and when she would catch kids playing the games on those calc's she would delete the game folder form the calculator and would ruin for them permanently. Man, good memories.

I had the best professor my first two years in college. He taught history. I have not retained so much from any other classes than I did from him. His teaching style was phenomenal. Only lecture based, no power point or anything to copy notes from, it was our own responsibility to take good notes. No homework, only tests and those were entirely short answer, 100ish questions per test.

He told everything as if he was there giving an eye witness account. It was like being told amazing stories from your cool uncle. Best teacher I ever had and probably safe to say "will ever have".
 
my history teacher last year is a boss. hes like in his late 30's living that bachelor life and skis a shit load. the dudes a walking history book, he knows every little tidbit of information about any significant history event.
