Might be a bit early for this one but, I have info that there will be a full size airbag this year! not 100% accurate but from what I've heard its been ordered...

/Hype!

have a good season Ottawa.

Haha, oh camp fortune. Best place to fuck shit up, But until they build the pay park on clifford, I think i'll stay away.

this was VERY frustrating. also i got word today that the airbag has legit been bought. cant wait to see what its gonna look like.

i emailed them about this and they replied

"We don’t have any confirmation of

when exactly our hill is going to be open. It will all depend on the weather.

It should be open around end of November to

December if the weather is cold enough."

Is anyone going to the open house November 6th where they are hosting some sort of ski setup?

LOL, i would seggest investing in more then 2 rails and making bigger then 5 foot jumps before they get an airbag, i was there for provincials last year, and sorry guys but park is so bad, and riding bike bridges in the woods is much more enjoyabe and theres a bike wall ride you can hit(im sure you locals know what im talking about0)

Ya, exactly my thought, The park was brutal, the biggest jump there will be the one for the airbag. i think they shoudl really invest clifford as the pay park run, and build big jumps, they could easily take edel, and cascades business with how close to ottawa they are. untill then I will be at edel, cascade, tremblant.

i also agree. but these are my thoughts : in Quebec the law states that to have jumps bigger than 1 meter you must have a pay park or else insurance does not cover it. so im guessing (hoping) that if they get an airbag they will either make it a pay park of some sort maybe just for air bag i dunno or upgrade their insurance policy. which would be sick but hey, who knows!

Key words. When Steve built the park it was legit, and I wouldn't mind getting a pass if it was going to be like that again, I also don't mind paying an extra $20 for a park pass, but if the park is going to be similar to last season its a pointless investment if you plan on skiing in the park.

i know what you mean, and yes i agree. liam i also agree with you, i would be down to shell out $ 20 for the park, provided it was worth it, which just means more than 2 rails, and some decent jumps. maybe thats what they have planned for this year, overall use stepping up their game in the park? here's hoping.

now they just need to get their pipe back. Hopefully there's lots of snow this year though, I was scoping out some sick off trail lines around Fortune that need some hiking to get to and some decent cover.

airbag sesh going down this weekend, friday 11am to 3 pm and sat 11am to 3pm

10 bucks to sesh the airbag and sign your life away to be allowed to do inverts!

should be decent im deff gonna go check it out!

Hah, probably will be going... I'll be so shitty thought, i suck at jumps... will they have like, a little jib setup on the side or something?

i dont think Fortune set anything up (dunno though) but theres a bunch of snow so if theres pvc lying around i dont see why you couldnt!

I'm sure some kids will bring a few pvc's, you could always take a culvert from their magic carpet, thats what we did last year late season.

it's just pinault open.. there are times it's just not worth it and this is one of them. unless you like lapping 250 feet vert of practically flat terrain.

Just got back from opening day. Snow was good, lift line was huge, only the triple chair was running for some reason, idk I only took the lift once. As for park there was a pvc, a flat/down picnic table, and a butter box.

pretty non-existent lift line today, same "park" set-up, so a few of us built a side booter further up. it got way warmer towards the end of the day, you could see some snow melting on clifford.

^no, not a single gun going and the runs were completely bare. They need to get pineault and other green runs in perfect shape for their Christmas camps, thats where their focusing their efforts.

they said the airbag will come out again when they are fully open. so i assume late december early january.

the pvc is short.

Went up today. Park was better than i expected.

(in order from top to bottom)

Butter Box

Small Jump

Flat box

Metal pipe or pvc pipe

flat down picnic table

wall ride

Everything is in one big line, except for the pvc. So yes it does flow pretty decent.

The wall is all fucked though.
