what's the stream

It's on ESPN360. I have Comcast so I can stream it but I imagine there's a free link roaming around somewhere. Although I think if you are outside of the US you may be able to stream right from the Air and Style site.

You can stream it from the air and style website even if you are in the US. If you're on Chrome get the hola extension and choose another country

Yup! I'm in the UK and watching via the Air and Style site. Good quality stream!

Shaun white has ruined snowboarding is what some are saying. If ruining sbowboardi g means including skiing then I'm behind it 100%. I could do without the fashion.

Not too sure about the judges though. They seem to recognize style but they really seem to enjoy handing out 40-42 points. I mean it feels like everyone who hasn't fucked up has gotten a score just above 40

damn matt walker slays.

also this landing looks sketchy, looks so easy to ski off the snow

That's the tough thing about city big airs. They're all like that. This one seems like one of the more legit city big air setups. Plus, it's a massive jump. Seems a lot bigger than other city big air jumps.

so that's 10:30 Eastern time correct? Sorry but 1830? wtf

9.30pmEST I believe.

Judging from last night's boarding event the latter stages of it were at night.

It'll be 2.30am for me when it happens, count yourself lucky!

I was thinking the same thing, especially because it looks they have metal bike rack walls set up on the sides. It probably does not feel good running into one of those at their speeds...Just ask Goepper.

18:30 PST is military time. You simply subtract 12 to figure out the time, if the time is below 12 it reads as is. So that is 6:30pm PST or 9:30pm EST.

I'm standing next to the jump in pouring rain. Please tell me finals are going to happen.

The skiing has been lights out even in the terrible conditions.

This is an official list from the qualification pool, round 1.

Round 2 will be finals.

Only top 10 make it to finals which are now from 6:30-7:30 PST with the 10 qualifiers from the first round!

1 Gus Kenworthy - 86.23

2 Alex Bellemare - 85.68

3 Vincent Gagnier - 85.39

4 Jossi Wells - 85.12

5 Oystein Braaten - 84.69

It was mostly dubs 10,12,14 at the first round. Judges we giving out 40s for anyone who will simply land it. In my opinion this comp lucks style, it's more spin to win, though some guys were killing it with style. Also we might see some triples at the finals, if someone will be brave enough to through it. I personally more waiting for Vini to through some rad stylish tricks rather then everyone chasing for triple. That being said this is massive event and setup itself is huge, so will se what finals will bring!

Finals are cancelled folks.

Bummed.

CONFIRMED

"Due to weather and environmental conditions, for safety reasons, we made a decision to cancel the ski finals competition.

The standings from Round 1 will be used as the final results."

Well that sucks, the only thing left is to watch online on a live translation how shapers work around the feature in poring rain, LOL.

anyone else find it hilarious that a ski event near LA got rained out during on the biggest droughts cali has ever seen?
