It was so beautiful, god damn Russian engineering.

He's a fucking clown...one of hte last people in htis country I was representing the U.S.A. as they're walking the athletes in

Who was the genius that thought that a communist shithole country would be a place to host the olympics, stop hosting them in 3rd world countries for fucks sake.

He's not from the USA, dinkus. He's representing Sweden, and he'd be the first guy I'd want representing my country if he could, since he's pushing a unique style and is one of the major hopefuls for this event.

he is keeping skiing weird. I respect that. Would you rather the olympics change the way our sport's athletes present themselves?

gotta agree, he may be one of the nastiest skiers ever, and i respect him, but its hard to deny he isn't a clown.

I don't care how he presents himself. I'm just glad he isn't representing the US. He is an embarrassment. Hopefully Sweden can keep him out of any sort of public spotlight.

This exactly, I never denied him being weird, that said, he's still rad as all hell since he is one of the major hopefuls of this event. Weird or not, he can ski, and that's pretty much the whole point of this event.

That's pretty cool and all but his training in insane. Obviously they don't have skeleton facilities in India so the dude gets what is basically a glorified auto creeper and cruises down highways in India past fucking sheep, parked cars and in and out of traffic

the spoilers are ridiculous now. I know we shouldn't assume the world revolves around America, but ESPN, and American sports network, just had a facebook post that said, "While you were sleeping, Sage Kotstenburger wins gold in slopestyle"

Thanks ESPN! You even acknowledged I was asleep and could not have seen it.

Yeah Newschoolers posted something on facebook about it too... I think im just gonna stay away from social networks until everything is over.

apparently a US and a Russian judge made an agreement to rig 2 different figure skating events so they each get a gold. Hilariously this was brought to light by a French judge.

yea that's what CBC was saying, that it would essentially block the Canadians from the possibility of gold.

Why are all the Oakley athletes wearing those bright green goggles? Its ot just skiers but all the snowboarders as well.

They can't have noticable logos, so the next step is bright poppy colors. Not a bad move by Oakley, marketing without marketing.

Not sure about TV, but if you can get access to CBC (Canada) online, they've had pretty great coverage of every event so far.

Unfortunately I am about 50 miles south of that in Burlington VT. I know NBC said they will air things, but I want to know if its primetime, and if so, where to find it. I dont want to stay up till 2 am for nothing.

What's the procedure after a big head impact like that? I just ask this because she snowboarded out of it and seemed fine but a little dazed. Is a brain scan necessary?

I'm pretty sure she lost consciousness there. That was a literal rag doll and you can see her head flopping around.
