Official 2011-2012 Stratton Mountain thread

there opening up 2 more new parks this year. i got my season pass this year to stratton its gunna be a dope season
 
From what i have heard so far Sunriser Supertrail has been confirmed along with Big Ben and tyrolienne. And middlebrook will probably be.
 
so big ben is the only new park? sunriser was the super park last year, and tyroleinne and middlebrook were the smaller ones
 
bringing back the burneside (sp?) park would be sick. old smoothie was ok but it was stupid cuz it had like 1 jump and didnt go up til like march.
 
burnside is so fun now tho cruisin through that boardercross course...They need to bring back the old suntanner flow. Such a sick park back int he day. Also a few years back when you could hit a bunch of parks in a row no the frontside of the mountina
 
I never understood why mountains didn't do this. Look how successful carinthia is. I would much rather jump on one lift and ski top to bottom park.
 
you can do that at the sunbowl this year we got parks on sunriser, big ben, and middlebrook! and then tyro and byrneside at main Base!
 
it wasnt bad for one trail. the rails they set up made me realize how long not skiing for 9 months makes you suck.. it was embarrassing. hahaha
 
its mad easy to get the pass as of now nobodys even checking so u dont really need one. but the parks kinda fun they have a rail line and a box line. and some small hips. its nothing too special but everythings pretty trcikable and fun
 
yeah right now you can get away with not having a pass. but for later in the year you may want one... honestly the quiz is common sense. i skipped the video and got a 5/5. super easy and takes 5 minutes. you can get away without one though
 
How are the parks right now? Looks like some glades are open too, any word on the coverage?

Also middlebrook should be open tomorrow too which could be sick.
 
Any word on how things are at Stratton? Got a lot of rain up in Burlington last night and this morning. Did Stratton get the same rain? How are Old Smoothie and Middlebrook?
 
Big Ben and Middlebrook were pretty nice on saturday. Once they get all the features dialed its going to be so sick
