Possible new B Squad spoted at whistler with camber lever switch....anyone have anymore info?
 
Yes, the camber switch pulls a cable which lifts the nose up so there is reverse camber in the ski, the only problem that I see is that when you pull the cable, it is then lifted off the ski a few cm, which means that your other ski, or tree branches etc could get caught on the cable and it will break or you will gut hung up and your run will be disasterous.
 
What about longevity of the system? Don't you think after a while it would lose tension and not be as effective?
 
I have heard (from a rep) that the cable is in the ski. The ski is naturally in a rocker state (tip only), then affter skiing your supper amazing and sick line. you flip the switch that pulls the ski back into a normal (albeit small) camber. The cable is under the top sheet.
 
same the chronics are byfar the nicest ones so far! the invaders are looking dope as usual. Cant wait to see the anthems.

im also really diging vokls shit this year its fuking dope.
 
any1 know if the anthems have sidewall this year? im sick of the delaming fold over or w/e line has like, always been. the new chronics look to have it, do the anthems?

any1 wanna name these left to right for me?

i think the far left are the dumonts but other then that i cant tell between the spk's the thrusters and the foils.
 
wow, they really changed it up this year! is the green and white one thats 1 over from right a girls ski?

any ideas about what they go with? like is the suspect the thruster and so on? or are they pretty much all new?
 
no dimension info yet but its got a kinda unique shape, kind of a reverse sidecut in the tips and tails and then regular in the middle, maybe rocker too.

they look fun as hell.
 
i hope next year is a good snow year, because you know no one is going to be short on rockered skis.. LOLZerZ
 
Chill the fuck out, look up and find the tgr link that you can't click on, copy, paste and open that bitch up. Look halfway down the page and you'll find a video that shows the new anthems.
 
you should look though the whole thread.

And for the people bitching about not seeing the anthems, keep in mind that most people will have no idea what any of the skis look like until august. And guess what your not special.
 
wich ones are the anthems? im guessing the lightening bases? or the ones with the orange and blue bases?
 
the guys in this video is an idiot, he shows 2 different skis and says they are both Anthems. the first one he picks up is the invader then holds up the second one and says its the anthem but I think It looks like the Blend (looks like its in red) with what I saw on the bases. He then proceds the the third ski that is the chronic then holds up a fourth ski with the black at each end and the bleu and orange scribles by the bindings and says that it is the Anthems. all veary confusing to me!!! wich one is the anthems ???

by the way the fifth ski is the bacon
