Guys stop. Seriously. Its ridiculous. It just makes you all sound bitter. The dudes who were in finals all slayed, and all definitely deserved to be there.
 
I totally agree ben. I just gotta spell this out for the kids who continue to cause drama about a comp that was days ago.

1. If you still haven't figured it out yet, I was a judge.

2. There was absolutely no biases in the judging. The thought that TSP and BSBS had influence in the comp is completely ridiculous. No judges have any ties to BSBS besides me and if that was the case, I would've put rylan on the podium. In terms of TSP influence, I didnt judge snowboarding, BS park crew did. None of those guys work with TSP so why would they display any bias? Todd was the clear winner and if you can't recognize that then you should ask someone who was watching how well he rode.

3. If you honestly think that the 6 individuals who podiumed did not deserve to be there, then thats your opinion. We took note of each banger every kid landed, what feature they did it on, if they hit every feature, and the overall style of the rider. I'm sorry if some of you don't agree, but judging will always be subjective. However, I feel very comfortable that the winners deserved to be up there and rode extremely well.

4. Stop creating drama here. The freestyle scene in Montana is already small enough. Creating enemies is exactly the opposite of what I want to see happen. We are here to share our love for skiing and be positive. Let's do that
 
couldnt have put it any better myself.

comps are all about style, ability to land tricks/grease the rails and being different than everyone else...i mean, lots of kids can do 2 ons but when arms are flailing or you ride it for half the rail then fall off.....i dunno if your gonna make it to finals. but there is ALWAYS going to be people bitching about judging because it's based on opinion...just like everything else in this world.
 
Seems as if you and MTshred are a little hurt you didnt do well... SAying TSP and bsbs have anything to do with the judging? are you kidding me? How was BSBS involved in anyway to the rail jam or wildwood?

And TSP? yeah....because Todd did the best and won it is obviosly biases to TSP.

seems as if everyone in here is getting upset that they didnt do very good. I wasnt even there but from everything ive gathered it sounds like the right people ended up on top
 
i thought the judging was actually pretty good, the only thing id like to see is creative tricks getting as much recognition as technical tricks. all in all it was a super fun comp and i agree with who got on the podium
 
SNATCH IS THA ILLEST! any of you fools who think differently don't know what you're talking about..he totally deserved first cause he slays shit with mad style, and is more humble about it than anybody.props to him and the rest of riders, bubb killed it tooand props to the judges.tight pants no chance.OUT.
 
Word. Snowboarding was where we felt the cliq vibe. But we could not hear a damn thing from the PA so if we missed seeing it or could not figure out what went down it was lost.

 
the thing is theres about 6 maybe 7 girls total in montana that ride park :(. believe me, its not that easy to get other girls doing it. i mean whats the point when you know your going to get beat out by guys? pretty annoying
 
So they're not going to award us for skiing until theres a certain number of us competing? no fuck that. 3 girls is more then most comps get for ladies around here. 1 girl or 10 girls were still out there hitting the same shit as the boys and paying the same amount of money to enter. Girls won't want to do that competition again if they know there not going to get credit for skiing in it, trust me.
 
I would had happily done so at chamberlin, but when no one cares to simpily switch over the girls to the mens and just let them ski for nothing thats some shit. I wouldn't be as upset if it was more like wildwood where you just go and sesh for free and fun. But when i pay 45 dollars its different.. You definetly see it different cause its never happened to you but it sucks and looks sexist from my point of view. Im done worrying about this though. The cards played out the way they did for a reason and hopefully someday when theres "enough" girls worthy apparently of there own category then women will attend and shred.
 
Uh yeah, tell me how many girls you see seshing the park around here? Maybe like three.. if that. I don't have one other girl friend who skis park. The only girls i know who ski park don't even live here... In such a place like Montana where the whole park scene is really starting to become popular you would think that they would want to encourage as many people as possible to get out there and compete -including the girls. Not having a female category is ridiculous. Being that everyone is paying the same price to compete its only fair to have a female category.... its not about the prizes but its the fact that the few ladies who get out there and compete don't even get recognition for it. Done with the rant, but i just hope it changes because i really think it will encourage more ladies to get out there and compete no matter what.
 
Im gonna be honest with you here, which sucks, but someone needs to say it.. I guess if you wanna like give me some bad karma or something thats cool, whatever you gotta do.
First of all, I have now seen you bitch about this competition in 3 different outlets. If it sucks that bad, dont do it again. I promise you the people who organize and run this event will not miss your complaining. Its a rail jam, if you want to call it a male jam I guess I couldnt say your wrong... but 50 people entered, first come first serve. Is someone suppose to turn people away because they dont have enough girls yet? what if 10 slots are open for girls and they dont fill up when those spots could have been replaced with guys who wanted to compete just as much as you? There are not enough girls here to make divisions for them and its a little outlandish to think that female prizes should be scraped up on the assumption that a girl or two may show up (the girls snowboard prize was a last minute idea from the never summer guys who were there)... If you want to come and compete that is awesome. Everyone was pumped to see you killing it. But if you are going to say that you should get a prize based completely on the fact that you were a girl competing, now that just sounds a little sexist to me... call me crazy, but I think thats exactly what you are fighting against with that chick skier group you started. Not to mention it leaves a realllly sour taste in everyones mouth to hear really dumb complaints from a chick they were stoked to see competing with the guys 30 minutes ago...
Im sorry you didnt win anything, but neither did 44 other people who entered and paid the fee. You dont hear the really young kids bitching because there isnt a kids division. They realize who they are competing against, and step up their game. The kid who won second in snowboarding was one of the youngest competetors. You shouldnt feel so entitled to a prize because you are a girl. You have just as good a chance as everyone else. Get over it and have fun skiing. If you are that worried about prizes then stomp better tricks than the guys, which is entirely possible.

Hmm okay? I have only ever been to Wildwood . And they even have a women's division even if there is only one lady in it. Besides that I know a handful of girls who have competed in rail jams out side of Montana where there is a women's division.
