Officail Snowbowl MT Thread!!

I accitdently hit Enter instead of tab!! So looking at all the other threads there are ones for Big Sky, Big Mountain Moonlight etc... but there are none for the 'Bowl. This thread is for those of us, granted there might only be a few, who shlarp the gnar everyday except Tuesdays (assholes)!! i'd be surprised if there anybody comments on this page. Happy Shredding! Not today unfortunately. We are in the process of re-cutting it. Should be open by Saturday. However we will be putting in the 4 pack jump line but it will only be open on Tuesdays.

yo the bowl has been my home mountain for 10 yrs now, fucking great on a pow day, mad vertical, and best vibe in the state
 
hell yeah, I'm going to the U of M next year, and snowbowl is going to be my home mountain! Glad to see there are NS'rs at snowbowl too!
 
sorry to all the people i pissed off today while screaming where is the park at? i'm pretty much the anti-park... so i felt a lil hater. but man spring slush is so good for wood chopping!
 
the bowl has been fucking epic lately over three feet in a week, get up here before they close next weekend, which is longer than most
 
n e one peep the small park at the bottom of the t-bar this year. me and my bud are the one who set it up.
 
hey ill be at the UofM next year so ill be skiing snowbowl. do people do much for building jumps and urban and things of that sort because i will need to still get some jibbing in
 
yeah me and my buddies always build mad jumps and hopefully we will be able to build the public park next year, supposedly you would buy a park pass and the money would go directly to me and my friend for maintaining it.
 
snowbowl is a serious place. I love the butt-caped oldschoolers, or getting off the lift and seeing a dude with a 5ft thermometer ducking into the woods, or a 50+ yr old jester hat dude steal airs I'm approaching, or the dude who yells "whoosh" every turn on the same line under the griz chair. . . and oh boy do they love snowboarders!!! nearly had an oldschool lady start a fist fight with me - I had made the mistake of rebutting I had riden there longer than her, oops!
 
or the least serious place ever. that's why it rocks. I think it's funny you managed to piss someone off though. And I saw zero hate on snowboarders the whole season, maybe with the exception of pat. who is the least happy person ever.

But really, on a good day there's no place I'd rather be. And it's got the most legit bar in montana, so I'd rather be there on shitty days as well.
 
yeah Pat is pretty much the only asshole up at that mountain, a few wierd missoula people that come off as weird but actually are really cool, one thing ive learned after my 13 years at the bowl, dont piss pat off,live and let live, because he has the right to pull your pass, and he did it to me no questions asks for skiing the hourglass soo watch out!!!!
 
Skied the bowl for my first time ever yesterday. Still good snow in the woods but it was a giant sheet of ice otherwise.
