Off Brand Camera Batteries

So I was wondering who here has used non brand (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.) batteries for their cameras. Searchbarred but couldn't find much, even on Google. I mean I could, but I personally want to know what you guys use? Curious because I'm looking for off brand batteries for a D700, especially the EN-EL4a battery that fits the grip, used also in the D2, D3, D4, etc. Asking because Wasabi makes as far as I know, some pretty reputable batteries, but I couldn't find anything regarding this particular battery, they want 40 for it as opposed to Nikon's rip off of 120 bucks.

Sparknotes: What is NS's luck as far as off brand/3rd party camera batteries in general? If I have to pay full price for a Nikon battery, I will. But if they're just as good as Nikon's I don't see the point in spending 3X as much...
 
I bought a couple off brand batteries for a Sony point and shoot I own. They work just as well as the name brand ones and were a hell of a lot cheaper. I'm not sure if the same would be true of DSLR batteries, however.
 
They work them same just they probably wont last as long as a branded one. ie. canon battery-95mins/ non canon battery-75mins.
