Obliterated my phone skiing

What's up NS? Had some bad luck the other day when I ate shit off one of our bigger jumps, and sadly crushed my phone into oblivion. This was the result, which also included a phone sized bruise in my right hip. Not too happy about this haha, it miraculously still work perfectly, but it might be time for a new phone...

Any of you guys had something like this happen to you? If so, how bad was it?

Yeah op... Try a droid turbo with a screen protector and an otter box. The thing can't break.

Apple makes iphones easy to break so people buy them more often.
 
I've pretty much damaged a phone doing everything but skiing

Have destroyed two phones while ice fishing in the last week...for some reason, no one will let me borrow their phone....weird
 
phone still works? not a big deal at all. get one of those asians to come to your house and replace the screen. heard it's only like 20 dollarss. give him a bowl of rice will probably be free then
 
Once my friends pocket was unzipped and he crashed in the pow. Didn't realize he lost his phone until the next run. We went back to where he crashed and dug in the pow for 15 minutes until we found it.
 
And that is why chest pockets exist. Literally do not understand why people put their phones in their pant pockets while skiing.

Maybe he was skiing in a sweatshirt?

I shattered and bent my phone while jet skiing last summer. I had it in the front compartment and we hit some huge wakes that day and I assume that's how it broke. If it still works don't bother getting a new phone til it stops working. I recently got a new phone cause mine stopped working, then I broke my new phone last week and it doesn't work at all... fml

You had to bring your phone fucking jet skiing with you? Just couldn't stand to be away from it? I don't understand some people
 
That happened to my 120GB ipod back in the day. Apple was super awesome and gave me a brand new ipod even though it wasn't under warranty. Bring it in to the genius bar and act really sad - they'll at least give you a discount on a new phone.

Androids are so similar using a majority of Apple's designs it barely matters what phone you get.

I've had my iphone for 5 years no damages yet
 
Still have zero comprehension why people don't put a lifebox or otterbox on their iphones. You have a $700 device that breaks relatively easily and it protects it so well

The droid turbo in particular is crazy durable. The entire casing is made out of Kevlar/carbon fiber and the screen doesn't crack. Add a case and a screen protector and its kind of overkill. Certain phones are just on the next level.

I brought it so I could check the time because I had to be somewhere later in the day. Jesus fuck some of you people overreact way too much.

Because asking someone, having a not horrendous sense of time... Or wearing a fucking watch was totally out of the question lol

And the reason people don't use otterboxes etc is because that defeats the cool slim, portability and slerkness of the phone. I guess I don't understand why it's so difficult to be without your phone when doing something active... Just leave it in the car haha.
 
I dont get why people need their phones while skiing or doing any other activity where it could break. Leave it in your car. It wont kill ya to be without it for a few hours.

Music, meet up with friends, get a fire gram shots, etc there are a million reasons to have it.

Have one and I usually always have my phone in it, but my phone dies from the wind and cold so I put in an inside pants pocket and this happens lol

Couldn't find any other way to keep track of time than put your $800 smartphone in a presumably relatively large sized box attached to one of the most violent recreational machines. I'd say being surprised at all that it broke is an overreaction

Dude, I've been rocking the white tank since '98. The Droid is just the icing on the cake. I like cake, and meth.
