Oakley is played...Well atleast here it is...my hometown got a oakley store in the mall and now thats all you see is oakley sunglasses stickers clothes and what not...I just wish this didnt happen in my town...has this happened to any of your guys towns
 
ya, oakley is really popular in my town, random kids r just wearing oakley shirts and hoodies all of the sudden
 
good stuff just highly over priced. Go with Dragon they have some former designers from oakley and its of the same quality (ive had the same sunglasses for 4 years now) but half the price

I mean you would have to be a giant tool to ever buy those. But I have a couple pairs of Frogskins and just bought the Splice's and happen to love both products. Every company makes some shit no one in their right mind should rock. However, I think its a sweeping generalization to say the whole company is "played"

to the op: i know what you mean. they opened up a dc store and a quicksilver store in my town and all you see kids wearing is dc and quicksilver. and theres another store called urbane and they sell cool stuff, but they got a huge stock of lrg and every kid is wearing it.
 
they are sick sunglasses, and im sure you do not fall into this category, but seriously, the vast majority of people i see with those are guidos and jocks who think they are the absolute shit at beaches and stuff. just sayin

Oakley make dope stuff.... So what if more people wear their stuff... they are already a massively well known international company...
 
I don't know, I'm not a huge fan of most of their stuff nowadays, but back in the day they had some filthy stuff (puffy pants anyone?)

most of their shit is fuck ugly now though
 
We've got one in a mall pretty close to my house, luckily the only people that buy their shit actually rock it, and aren't huge douchebags.

really? i love my orange and brown air raid jacket it is so warm. then again i've never had any older oakley products to compare it to but still i think they make very quality outerwear.

We have an Oakley store in London. But it's a city of 7 million people, with the nearest ski hill 20 hours drive away. So no, this hasn't happened.
