are the puffy pants actually puffy? or are they the thickness of the rest of the pants and thats just the name of them?
 
I know...so listen to me, ladies. Went to Paragon Sports in nyc today and saw the new puffy O pants - to be honest, i was pretty turned off. Puffy, yes, but not that puffy. Comparable to the older models or, say, a primaloft jacket. Besides that, i wouldn't buy them purely on the principle that they felt flimsy as shit - the outside shell is kinda quilted but just feels like suuuuper thin nylon that would rip/tear/wear out really easily. Also, the side graphics suck balls compared to the older ones.

JUST MY TWO CENTS. BITCHES.
 
^good eyes. I got them, and the shell is super thin. Mine are getting cut up already, especially around the bottom. The edges from my skis slice the pants. My last pair of pants were re-inforced in that area. Puffy 3.6 are not. But they do look sweet.
 
It's BS you pay 175 for a pair of stinking pants and they rip on the first day. I'm never getting oakley crap again.
 
who pays that much for snow pants anyway? Where do people get this money? I dont think all of my set up costs that much and it still works perfectly fine.
 
I have the 3.5, and they're extremely comfy, but they really aren't that puffy, and definately not that warm. They're still awesome though.
