Oakley outwear durability

So my armada stuff is pretty much destroyed from trees and crashes. Does anyone know how durable Oakley outerwear is? or if they have a suggestion for stuff that will last longer than one season let me know.

i nailed my knee on a rail in my oakley pants and burned a hole in it, but i'm sure with a crash like that itll happen to anything
i've been pretty happy with my stuff so far

I think it is pretty good. I had a pair of quicksilver pants and after a few months of using them they had tons holes and cuts from my edges on the bottom of the pants. My corked pants at the same time this year not one hole or cut... so you get what you pay for. Corked Pants = $300 Quicksilver = $150.

oakley outerwear is terrible, you won't find many people who like that shit outside of NS. they don't stand behind it when the laminates on a $500 jacket split apart either. pretty legit company... yeah right.

Great bang for your buck since you can get a lot of it on sale if you look around. $200-250 for a good suit is hard to beat, and I like Oakley better than Saga, FD, and Armada anyway (although Armada's new stuff is pretty sweet and I might start looking at them next time!). My best stuff has been TREW, but Oakley was second place.

Oakley's expensive stuff is good, but everything else is overpriced garbage. Oakley may make good optics, but their outerwear isn't anything to brag about, it's terrible quality. Buy Orage if you want quality.

Does that make their optics bad? They sure don't suck even if there are better optics out there. And yes, their outerwear is garbage, not even a question. I have never seen or heard anything good from their outerwear.

Any one else used their stuff and want to comment? I just like that you can get it with 40 60 or 80 grams of insulation where as everyone else is pure shell or 150g or more if fill.

Higher end Oakley stuff is really nice....Check my threads, I'm trying to get rid of a really nice suit...only reason is that I realized its a little too big and I pretty much wear my burton AK stuff everyday now. 15k, insulation, every feature imaginable...magnets, wrist gaters and the list goes on. My whole suit will sell for less than a Saga jacket, which IMO blow. Saga is trendy shit that def is NOT 20k or whatever they claim...shit feels like cotton after its washed, it fades and just is too thin and shitty for what it sells for.
I've never had a problem with Oakleys upper end stuff, really durable, comfy, suer waterproof and especially with the suit Im selling, you get every single feature you could ever need in a jacket + more!
