i am going to get a pair of oakley splices. i had a fire iridium lens on old aframes and i couldnt wear them at night cuz they were too dark. what is a good day and night lens from oakley

no, those are only good at night. They will give you a head ache if you use them in the day, since it makes everything too bright.

Never used pink irid but everyone i talk to loves it. I personally don't find the fire irid too dark but your slope might be different.

If you go at night, persimmion is your best bet. It has a 62% light transmission which is just enough for the day if you don't have sensitive eyes.
Pink Iridium is 57% but it really is pink and in most cases you would have to order it direct from oakley cause a majority of shops cary it in the women's specific goggles and maybe a white Aframe.
Hopefully soon they will be releasing a Violet Iridium in googles which is now my absolute favorite lense. But they just started making it for their sunglasses. Best lense ever in poor weather (at least to me).
