Oakley goin ham

There's a free iPhone app that does all of those things besides having a HUD in your goggles, but I feel like that would get annoying to look at even. I'm not really stoked in any way about these.

the tracking feature looks good for avys but other than that , looks like something a rich texan skier would buy

don't see myself ever getting these I just thought it was pretty crazy. this type of stuff is gonna get more popular in the coming years tho, ie google glasses and stuff like that

that would be so much better in a pair of sunglasses. i cant always where ski goggles but i can always where sunglasses

So if you're stupid enough to the tracking feature for avalanche rescue, you're very likely to find a pair of googles the day of the rescue and a dead body in the spring.

i agree, especialy for just viewing landings and whatnot in general i could see it being ather annoying. not to mention i cant see them being the most lightweight goggle..

Zeal has made that shit for a long time, it's not for real skiers it's for people who love gadgets and happen to have time share at deer valley that forces them to ski once a year.

i tried these on at the outlet where the gf works and they were seriously fucking insane, super cool how the display is in your peripheral without affecting vision
waaay too many gizmos/gadgets for one goggle though, just imagine someone nerding out with their altimeter and plowing through ski school
i do think the speedometer thing would be extremely useful for dialing in features, so useful that i kinda wonder if they will get banned from competition

this seems dangerous, rich gapers everywhere focusing more on that little screen than the actual skiing...

The speed feature would be so awesome.

Hey, what's the speed for this jump?

38.4 mph is perfect speed.

Thanks man!

Oh yeah, because I'm sure my goggles will stay on as I'm getting pummelled down a mountain in an avy.....

These goggles are the shit though. I'd love to have a pair, but I can't see that happening any time soon. Not that I can't afford them, more so that I can't justify them.

I/O Recon is the same thing, but cooler

being a bit scared is half the fun to me. i feel that same way about abs packs. why ski somthing that could slide and not worrie about it just cause you have an air bag on.

haha yea i wish i could text someone...."in the heli lol"

id own these if i was rich or a pro skiier. Other then that id rather spend the $600 on anything else.

The thing I like most about having spherical lenses is that you have full peripheral vision...but this kind of defeats the purpose of that. I think it'd just piss me off after a day or too. It's cool that they CAN do it, doesn't mean it needs to be done.
