What do you guys think about the new Canopy's? My friend needs a new pair and has always loved Oakley but has always wished they had a better field of view. He loves the look of the Canopy's and is really interested. They look a lot similar to the EG2's which I have and happen to love (They just barley fit). So I was just wondering If anyone had any experience with them.
 
I just got a pair of matte white canopys with the black Iridium lens, I haven't had a chance to ride them yet but my initial impressions are:

It's a huge goggle, I have a big head (XL Helmet) and I wear glasses and the goggles fit over he top no problem. Peripherals are ridiculous, you can practically see behind you. Going from the fit and look I love them, I'll have to see how they do when I go skiing to tell you how well they work in practise!
 
Hey thanks man! Surprisingly, the size isn't really a problem because he has a pretty small helmet in terms of forehead coverage and my EG2's are fine on him so these will be fine I'm sure.
 
I love mine. Such a great flied of view and the fit is unbeatable (for me) dark grey lens works awesome for mostly everything

But yeah, i would most definitely recommend them.
 
yeah the dark grey works well in sunlight, not as good as a fire iridium but still well enough that my eyes aren't hurting throughout the day (I have abnormally large pupils)

Black iridium is a solid sunny lens too.
